A native of Fulton County, Mr. Baynes was a son of the late Marie Lloyd Cason and Haron Gatewood "Bit" Baynes Jr. He was a 1967 graduate of Auburn University, owner and operator of Baynes Construction and a member of First Baptist Church and the Kidney Foundation of Georgia. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. Tuesday in Greensboro City Cemetery with the Revs. Dennis Garner and Dave Sandridge officiating. Survivors include his wife, Sandra H. Baynes; four daughters, Beth B. Garland and Jill Harris, both of Greensboro, Jennifer B. Brown, Madison, and Robin T. Lahr, Washington; a son, Eric Harris, Dublin; a brother, Jimmy Baynes, Greensboro; and five grandchildren. Bobbie Jean Dious Athens Bobbie Jean Dious, 54, of 870 Reese St. died Monday, July 13, 1998. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Dious was a daughter of the late Annie Ruth White. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in East Lawn Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Marion Lewis Dious; two daughters, Angela Clark and Donna Long, both of Athens; a son, Brandon Dious, Athens; a brother, Alvin White, Athens; four grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Jackson-McWhorter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ruby M. Gentzler Lansing, Kan. Ruby M. Gentzler, 88, died Monday, July 13, 1998. Mrs. Gentzler was a daughter of the late Charles Theodore and Myrtle Weece and was the widow of Marvin Gentzler. She worked many years as a bookkeeper for Cowley County Treasurer's office, Winfield, Kan. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Presbyterian Women' Guild. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. today at Barnett-Larkin-Brown Funeral Home, Leavenworth, with the Rev. Tim Doty officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Sterling Hunter Atlanta Sterling Hunter, 95, formerly of Stephens, died Sunday, July 12, 1998. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Stephens was a son of the late Robert and Sally Hunter. He was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Stephens, and the church's board of deacons. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. He was a retired electrical technologist for Sun Corporation ship and drydock of Chester, Penn., and a member of the Lutheran Church. He was a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in agriculture, a former dairy farmer and a member of BPO Elks, Robinson, Ill., and Universalist Church, Hutsonville, Ill.
