Carlson West Palm Beach, Fla. Ragnar H. Carlson, 87, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998. A native of Stockholm, Sweden, Mr. Carlson was a retired painter in the construction industry. Services will be 3 p.m. today at Elmhurst Cemetery with the Rev. Ray Dickerson officiating. Survivors include his wife, Mercedes Canales Carlson; a sister in Sweden; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 2 p.m. today at Hick's Funeral Home, Elberton. Hoke Coile Danielsville William Hoke Coile, 92, of 2616 Old Wildcat Bridge Road died Saturday, Nov. 14, 1998. A native of Madison County, Mr. Coile was a son of the late Mark and Fannie Glenn Coile and was married to the late Jessie Booth Coile. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley Hayes. He was retired from road construction and was of the Baptist faith. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Pruitte Funeral Home, Royston, with Otis Graham and the Rev. Ray Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Jo Richards, Decatur; six sons, Donald Coile, Columbus, Doyle Coile, Millsprings, N.C., Randall Coile and Frank Coile, both of Danielsville, Thurman (Butch) Coile, Brooksville, Fla., and Russell Coile, Ila; a brother, Robert (Tump) Coile, Cartersville; and 21 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. Higginbotham Washington Mary B. Higginbotham, 88, of Oak Grove Road died Friday, Nov. 13, 1998. A native of Wilkes County, Mrs. Higginbotham was a daughter of the late John M. and Mary Carolyn Bentley Burgess and was married to the late Norman Higginbotham. She was a retired school teacher, a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church, and helped organize the Metasville Farm Bureau. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Rehoboth Baptist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Chester Hall and George Hollis officiating. Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn H. Simpson, North Augusta, S.C., Norma H. Sanders, Winterville, and Lanoy H. Cole, Charlotte, N.C.; a son, William Higginbotham, Washington; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A native of Banks County, Mrs. Pace was a daughter of the late Susie Mae Perdue and Carl Hester Cain. She was retired from Baker & Taylor and a member of Mount Bethel United Methodist Church. Services will be 4 p.m. today at Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Slocum officiating. The body will be placed in the chapel at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. Paige Winder Jessie S. Paige, 102, of 263 East May St. died Thursday, Nov. 12, 1998. A native of Gwinnett County, Mrs. Paige was a daughter of the late Willie and Nancy Ashworth Freeman and was married to the late Henry Russell Paige. She was a member of Winder Wesleyan Church. A native of DeKalb County, Mr. Rainwater was a son of the late Minor and Corrie Lewis Rainwater. He was a retired technician with Lucent Technology and had served with the U.S. Marines. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Arthur Bowick's Oconee Chapel with the Rev. Marshall Smith officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Williamson Rainwater; a daughter, Kimberly R.
