A native of Morgan County, Mrs. Clear was a daughter of the late Ophelia Johnson and Epp Beal. She was retired from making orthopedic supplies for Fillauer Surgical Supplies, and was a member of Salem Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Greenlawn Cemetery, Union Point, with the Rev. Lyle Allen officiating. Survivors include three sisters, Doris Ogletree, Union Point, Nina Stewart, White Plains, and Jewell Harper, Covington; and two brothers, Henry C. Beal and Elma Beal, both of Sandersville. Nephews, including David Ogletree, Edward Ogletree, James Ogletree and Randy Ogletree, will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at McCommons Funeral Home, Greensboro. H. Robert Delozier Monroe H. Robert Delozier, 86, of 1141 Golfview Drive died Sunday, June 14, 1998. A native of Blair, Penn., Mr. Delozier was a son of the late John and Florence Lebo Delozier. He was a member of Ray Memorial Presbyterian Church and retired after 36 years from the U.S. Treasury Department. He was a member of Scottish Rite Shriners and a Master Mason of Masonic Lodge 357. Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. today at Ray Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Richard Stanford officiating. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Delozier; a daughter, Denise Holmquist, Duluth; two sons, Michael Delozier, Canton, and Dennis Delozier, Charlotte, N.C.; seven grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Joann C. Knapper Athens Joann C. Knapper, 49, of 199 Hanover Court, Bogart, died Monday, June 15, 1998. A native of Jones County, Mrs. Knapper was a daughter of Annie Mae Collins of Gray and the late Joseph Collins. She was a graduate of Fort Valley State and earned a master's degree from the University of Georgia. She taught for 25 years in Athens-Clarke County public schools and was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church West and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ebenezer Baptist Church West with the Rev. Winfred Hope officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Augusta. Survivors include her husband, Charles Knapper; a daughter, K. Nicole Knapper, Athens; a son, Anthony Knapper, Athens; her mother; two sisters, four brothers and several nieces and nephews. A native of Hart County, Mr. McClain was a son of the late Harvey Anderson and Mary Elizabeth Rumsey McClain and was the widower of Janie Hembree McClain. He was retired from the Navy School, was a Prisoner of War, a recipient of the European and African Campaign Medal with Bronze Star and Purple Heart and a member of AMVETS Post 10 and Veterans of Foreign War. He was of the Baptist faith. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today in Evergreen Memorial Park with military honors. Survivors include two sisters, Mary Leachman, Athens, and Judy Woods, McDonough; two brothers, Woodrow W. McClain, Augusta, and Johnny McClain, Florida; and nieces and nephews. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. McIntosh was a daughter of the late Edna Jones and Duck Harper and was the widow of Jimmy McIntosh. She was preceded in death by five children. Mrs. McIntosh was a member of Cades Chapel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Cades Chapel Baptist Church with the Revs. George Bolden and Richard Fortson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Survivors include five daughters, Gladys Woolfork and Sally Heard, both of Elberton, Francis Curry and Lady B. A native of Twiggs County, Mr. Mercer was a son of the late William Garner and Lucille Sanders Mercer. He was retired from the University of Georgia Extension Service as an agricultural agent for Washington County. He was named Man of the Year by Sandersville Rotary Club, the Washington County Farm Bureau, the Association of County Commissioners of Georgia and the Lions Club. He received Distinguished Service award from the National Association of County Agricultural Agents and the Atlantic Cotton Co. Award for outstanding cotton work in the state. He was a member of the Washington County Farm Bureau and was a 60-year charter monarch of Sandersville Lions Club. He served as mayor of the City of Sandersville from 1971 to 1973 and was a past director and president of the Georgia Association of Agricultural Agents, past deacon and chairman of the board of First Christian Church of Sandersville and past master of Hamilton Masonic Lodge 58. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at First Christian Church of Sandersville with the Revs. J. Emory Lindsey, Bob Raiford and Dan McPherson officiating. Burial will be in Brownwood Cemetery. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Pritchett was a daughter of the late William Thomas and Evie Thomason Pritchett and was the widow of John T. "Jake" Pritchett. She was employed by Wright Manufacturing Co. for 18 years and Georgia Sports Wear for 10 years. She was a member of Mount Zion Methodist Church. Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. today at Whitlock Mortuary with the Revs. Ryan Seawright, Marcus Martin and Duane Holcombe officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens. Survivors include three daughters, Mary Lou Barnes and Edna Holcomb, both of Toccoa, and Willie Ruth Roach, Lavonia; a son, George Pritchett, Carnesville; a sister, Grace Viola Ward, Toccoa; 10 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
