Caudell Toccoa Marie Smith Caudell, 73, of 6122 Old Liberty Hill Road died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998. A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Caudell was a daughter of the late Felton A. and Callie Adams Smith. She was a former employee of the LeTourneau Co. and later as a bookkeeper for Caudell Linoleum and Carpet Co. for 46 years. She was a charter member of Sunnyside Baptist Church, a Sunday School teacher, a church historian and a Women's Missionary Union Director. She was a nursery worker and was a member of the Stephens County Home Demonstration Club. Services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Sunnyside Baptist Church with the Revs. Bill Evans, Johnny Thomas and Dalton Carrington officiating. Burial will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her husband, Dwain Caudell; three daughters, Jane Burdette and Lisa Lathan, both of Toccoa, and Laraine Fatherree, Johnson City, Tenn.; a son, Steve Caudell, of the home; a sister, Joan Hudson, Toccoa; two brothers, Herbie Smith, Toccoa, and Jimmy Smith, Gainesville; eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Pallbearers will be nephews Dale Payne, Brad Smith, Ricky Hudson, Mike Hudson, Todd Smith and Jay Dooley. The family will be the residence and will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. today at Acree-Davis Funeral Home. Zadie A. Clark Lexington Zadie Ann Clark, 90, of Route 1 Box 1682 died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1998. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Clark was a daughter of the late Richard B. and Cynthia Ann Hammond and the widow of Delphin Clark. She was a member of Pentecost Chapel Holiness Church. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at Pentecost Chapel Holiness Church with the Rev. Tye Sorrow officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include two nieces, Ruby McGinnis and Bonnie Kincaid, both of Colbert; and other nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Jerry Hammond, Verner Hammond, Bobby Hammond, Pete Sisk, Greg Sisk and Mike Leadley. Pearl Pepper Harris Gillsville Pearl Pepper Harris, 90, of 678 Sims Harris Road died Monday, Dec. 14, 1998. A native of Banks County, Mrs. Harris was a daughter of the late Ollie Jenkins Pepper and Obe Pepper and was the widow of Joe Harris. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Ruby Harris, and a son, Jerry Harris. She was a homemaker and was a member of Gillsville Baptist Church. Services were Wednesday at Gillsville Baptist Church with the Revs. Jeff Morgan and Perry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Gillsville Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Survivors include five daughters, Margie Sanders, Homer, Ollie Savage, Maysville, Willie Jean Owensby, Mary Parson and Ruth Parson, all of Gillsville; four sons, Howard Harris, Commerce, James Harris, John Harris, and William Harris, all of Gillsville; a sister, Mattie Benton, Gainesville; a brother, Frank Pepper, Gainesville; 28 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. A native of Thomaston, Mrs. Richwine was a daughter of the late George and Lois Salter Childs. She was a registered nurse with 35 years service and served 20 years at Northeast Georgia Medical Center. She received her registered nurse training at Georgia Baptist Hospital, Atlanta. She was a member of AARP and the Cornelia First Baptist Church. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Cornelia First Baptist Church with the Rev. T. Logan Smith officiating. Burial will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her husband, Samuel W. Richwine; three sons and daughter-in-laws, Dr. Sam Jr. and Julie S.
