A native of Hall County, Mrs. Alexander was a daughter of the late William Lon and Nancy D. Griffin Cash and was the widow of Thomas Fred Alexander. She was a retired dietitian employed by Camp Mikell for 25 years and was a member of Toccoa Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Whitlock Mortuary, Toccoa, with the Rev. Larry Wilbanks officiating. Burial will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Alexander Nash, Toccoa; a son, Roger Alexander, Martin; five sisters, Grace Watkins, Jeffersonville, Ind., Minnie Cox, Marion, N.C., Ruby Hunt and Mildred Phillips, both of Toccoa, and Sara Barrett, Monroe; two brothers, Garnett Cash and Bill Cash, both of Toccoa; three grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, a great-grandchild and two great-stepgrandchildren. David Booth Elberton David Thomas Booth, 34, of 1969 Tanglewood Drive died Sunday, June 14, 1998. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Booth was a son of Jimmy and Marilyn Williams Booth of Elberton. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers, Roy F. Williams and Leroy Booth. He was of the Baptist faith and a granite polisher. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Berry Funeral Home with the Rev. Waymon Dotson officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include four sisters, Tammy Miller, Debbie Segars and Shannon Booth, all of Elberton, and Delaine Simmons, Walhalla, S.C.; three brothers, Todd Booth, Jimmy Booth Jr. and Billy Booth, all of Elberton; and two grandmothers, Helen Williams and Mildred Booth, both of Elberton. Pallbearers will be Michael Bellew, Steve Whitlow, Joe Segars, Tim Trotter, John Fleming and Stacy Turner. Jarrells, 67, of 121 Sartain Drive died Sunday, June 14, 1998. A native of Madison County, Mr. Jarrells was a son of the late Claude and Lavonia Scott Jarrells. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Tabor Chapel Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, Ila, with the Rev. Roy Lee Rarpkins officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Survivors include his wife, Lottie M. Jarrells; two daughters, Shelia D. Howard and Linda J. Harper, both of Athens; a son, Otis Jarrells, Commerce; three sisters, Ruby Vinson, Commerce, Claude M. Kirk Danielsville Charles Leonard Kirk, 78, of 1841 James Springs Road died Tuesday, June 16, 1998. A native of Madison County, Mr. Kirk was a son of the late David Hadden and Lethia Crumley Kirk. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Phillip Michael Kirk and Stacy Chapman Kirk, and his stepmother, Blanche McCurdy Kirk. He was retired from the University of Georgia Physical Plant and was a member of Diamond Hill Christian Church. He was an Army veteran of World War II, was captured by the Germans and held as a Prisoner of War during the Battle of the Bulge. He was a lifetime member of Harrison McCreary Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4828. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Evangelical Methodist Church with the Revs. Lester Haney, Dennis Kesler and Tim Peek officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with full military rites. Eula Risner Hartwell Eula Rogers Risner, 85, of 115 Fairview Ave. died Tuesday, June 16, 1998. A native of Macon County, N.C., Mrs. Risner was a daughter of the late Will and Orie Conley Rogers and was the widow of Rubin Risner. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Tony Risner. She was a homemaker, and a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church, where she was a member of Golden Agers and Flora Holland Sunday school class. An Army veteran of the Korean conflict, he owned and operated Smith Grocery Store on Burnette Road and was a member of Toms Creek Baptist Church and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4346. She received a bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and attended Marquette University School of Dentistry as the only female in her class.
