Booth Miami Arvis O. Booth, 93, formerly of Bowman died April 6, 1998. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Booth was a daughter of the late John Carlton and Jessie Jane Vaughn Booth. She was a retired supervisor and troubleshooter for the Social Security Administration. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hillcrest Cemetery, Bowman, with the Rev. John Forbes officiating. Survivors include a sister, Doris B. Madison, Miami. Berry Funeral Home, Elberton, is in charge of arrangements. Mary W. Campbell Athens Mary W. Campbell of 138 Magnolia St. died Sunday, Sept. 13, 1998. A native of Newnan, Mrs. Campbell was a daughter of the late Maggie Neal Wilkerson and C. Stacy Wilkerson Sr. After marrying the late James E. Campbell Sr., she taught school in Gainesville, Ga. She later moved to Athens, Ga., where she taught Home Economics at Union Baptist Institute and Athens High and Industrial Schools. She continued her teaching career at Ed Stroud Consolidated School in Oconee County from 1968-69. In 1969, she returned to Clarke County School where she completed her 40-year teaching career. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ebenezer Baptist Church West with the Rev. Winfred M. Hope officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. Survivors include one daughter, Starr L. Campbell, Athens; two sons, James E. Campbell Jr. and Stacey W. Campbell Sr., both of Athens; two daughters-in-law, Dianne S. Campbell and Delores E. Campbell, both of Athens; three sisters, Christola W. Jones, Gainesville, Fla., Evelyn W. Rambeau, Newport News, Va., and Inez W. Robinson, Valdosta; three brothers, Henry N. Wilkerson, C. Stacy Wilkerson Jr. and George M. Wilkerson, all of Newnan; six grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Roxanne Case Cleveland Roxanne Erin Case, 14, formerly of Clarkesville died, Monday, Sept. 13, 1998. A native of Hamilton, N.Y., Miss Case was a daughter of Laura Mae Baldwin, Cleveland. She was a ninth-grade student at White County High School. Services will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at Whitfield Funeral Home with the Rev. Tim Burpee officiating. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include two sisters, Angela Laymon and Christa Laymon, both of Clarkesville; a brother, William E. A native of Elberton, Mrs. Crawford was a daughter of the late Ralph and Thelma Colvard Ayers. She was an elementary school teacher and a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church. Alfred Etheridge Sr. Auburn Alfred Garfield Etheridge Sr., 72, died Thursday, Sept. 17, 1998. Mr. Etheridge was a son of the late Thomas W. and Sarah N. Etheridge Sr. A Navy and Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he was a retired plant manager from R&R Manufacturing, a 50-year member of Auburn Masonic Lodge, past master of Masonic Lodge, charter member of Auburn Carl Lions Club, for which he served as president in 1971 and 1972, and a member of Midway United Methodist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, with the Rev. Russell Repetske officiating. A native of Hart County, Mrs. Hill was a daughter of the late Albert and Edna Rowland Bowen and was the widow of Jack Hill Sr. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patsy Wicker, and a son, Bunyan Hill. A native of St. George, S.C., Mr. Murray was an Army veteran of World War II and a retired district plant manager for Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Co. He was a member of Mount Tabor United Methodist Church, Ridgeville, S.C., Elks Lodge 205, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks and Telephone Pioneers of America. A native of Hart County, Mr. Roukoski was a son of the late John and Louise Ebernickle Roukoski. He was twice married, first to the late Lucy Ankeridge Roukoski. He was a farmer, a truck driver for Maret Grain Co., and retired from Monroe Auto Co. Purchasing. He was a member and elder of Sharon Presbyterian Church. A native of Mechanicville, N.Y., Mrs. West lived in Athens for the past 35 years. She was the widow of the late Ernest P. West Jr. of Athens. She was very proud to have served in the Women's Army Corps and was a member of the Catholic Center. Services will be at 4 p.m. today, Sept. 18, 1998, at Bridges Funeral Home with Father Jack McDowell, pastor of the University Catholic Center, officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park.
