A native of Bristol, Tenn., Mrs. Hutson was a daughter of June Thomas of Chilhowie, Va., and the late Coy Thomas. She spent the majority of the past 15 years working with her longtime companion Bob Fulford as a part-time secretary and full-time goodwill ambassador in the motion picture film industry. She was a member of the Women of the Motion Picture Industry and a certified scuba diving instructor. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, Athens. Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Glade Springs, Va. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include a daughter, Kimberly J. Hutson; a son, Mark R. Hutson; and sisters, brothers, nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the home of Vernon Thomas, Route 2, Meadowview, Va. D. Ray Kenney Laurinburg, N.C. D. Ray Kenney, 56, of 12960 Randomwood Drive died Thursday, June 18, 1998. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Kenney was a son of the late Harry S. and Helen Wood Kenney. He was employed by Eaton Corporation - Golf Pride Division. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Monday in Evergreen Memorial Park, Athens. Survivors include his wife, Pamelia Laster "Pam" Kenney; two daughters, Carmel Lewis, Aiken, S.C., and Laurel Kenney, Winston-Salem, N.C.; a son, Matthew Kenney, Raleigh, N.C.; a sister, Margaret Woods, Charlotte, N.C.; three brothers, Robert Kenney, Brevard, N.C., David Kenney, Eatonton, and Harry Kenney, Burke, Va.; and two grandchildren. The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. today at McDougald Funeral Home and Crematorium. The family will receive friends 8-10 a.m. Monday at Evans Funeral Home, Jefferson. Mary Paul Carlton Mary Paul, 98, of 1019 Lexington-Carlton Road, Sandy Cross community, died Friday, June 19, 1998. A native and lifelong resident of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Paul was a daughter of the late John C. and Lucy Harris Holloman and was the widow of Howard A. Paul. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren. She was a homemaker and a member of Sandy Cross Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Sandy Cross Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Valerie Porterfield Spinks, Carlton, Shirley B. Foster, Senoia, and Betty J. Matthews, Atlanta; six sons, Howard Maurice Paul, William J. Paul, Carrol H. Paul, Broughton C. Paul and Jerry L. Paul, all of Carlton, and Joel H. Don Shuler Hoschton Don Shuler, 64, died Friday, June 19, 1998. Mr. Shuler was a son of the late Jessie and Cordie Dyer Shuler. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Winder and was retired from Western Union, and also Coldwell Banker Harris and Associates Realtors, where he was a Realtor. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home with the Rev. John Talley officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Marie Whitley Shuler; two sons, Barry Shuler, Hoschton, and Doug Shuler, Havana, Fla.; two brothers, Harold Shuler, Dacula, and Clyde Shuler, Winder; and three great-grandchildren.
