A native of Stephens County, Mr. Addison was a son of the late Russell A. and Willie Mae Cheek Addison. He was a member of Toccoa Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Inspirations Sunday School Class and was a former deacon. He was a mail carrier, owned and operated Addison's Gas and Grocery for 20 years, was a leader in establishing the countywide Fire Departments, and was also Civil Defense Director for two years. Services will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Whitlock Mortuary, Toccoa, with the Revs. Don Scott, Fred Kendrick, and Walter Poole Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Roselane Cemetery with Mr. Fred Duncan officiating the graveside service. Survivors include his wife, Jean Collins Addison; two daughters, Barbara Addison Ramey, Eastanollee, and Cathy Addison, Kennesaw; two sons, Bob Jackson (Jacky) Addison Jr., Lavonia, and Steve Addison, Riverview, Fla.; a sister, Rose Ellen Stamey, Toccoa; two brothers, Braz Addison, Toccoa, and Dan Addison, Eastanollee; and six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The family is at the home and will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home. Ruby Lou Cleveland Tignall Ruby Lou Turner Cleveland, 82, of Independence St. died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998. A native of Lincoln County, Mrs. Cleveland was a daughter of the late Louis Harrison and Gillie Frances Simmons Turner and was married to the late W.O. Cleveland. She was a homemaker and member of Beulah Baptist Church. Services will be 11 a.m. today at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Fowler officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Lillie S. Arrington, Greensboro, N.C., and Rebecca Vaughn Shaw, Conyers; four sisters, Alice Evans, Washington, Betty Couch, Walnut Grove, Margaret Bennett, Folson, La., and Nora Brownin, Commerce; a brother, W.L. Turner, Thomson; and eight grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Mrs. Cleveland's granddaughters. Hopkins Funeral Home, Washington, is in charge of arrangements. Bennie Neal Moon Royston Bennie Neal Moon, 52, of 38 Curry Homes died Friday, Sept. 18, 1998. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Moon was a son of the late Emory and Luvenia Bell Moon and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church, Dewy Rose. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Royston Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bascoe Jackson officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Pine View Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Lucy Berryman Moon; three daughters, Darlene Moon Keller and Susan A. Moon, both of Royston, and Melody J. Moon, Barnesville; two sisters, Louise Stribling, Augusta, and Gladys Brown, Elberton; a brother, Horace Moon, Athens; and three grandchildren. The family is at the home of Lucy M. Westmoreland Clarkston Dorothy Howard Westmoreland, 82, of 1052 Sans Souci Way died Saturday, Sept. 19, 1998. A native of Lavonia, Mrs. Westmoreland was a daughter of the late John Nathan and Effie Lee Jenkins Howard and widow of Zelman Westmoreland. She retired from Coats & Clark in Clarkston after some 30 years of service. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Acree-Davis Funeral Home, Toccoa, with the Rev. Charles Savage officiating. Burial will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Survivors include two sons, Jerry Westmoreland, Pensacola, Fla., and Joe Avery Westmoreland, Charlotte, N.C.; and four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Zack Westmoreland, Matthew Stowe, Allen Westmoreland, Chad Stowe, and Ralph Stowe. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
