A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Burton was a daughter of the late Grady G. and Victoria Christopher Dial and the widow of Sanford G. Burton. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Shane Burton. She was a retired seamstress and was a member of West End Baptist Church. She was an active member in her church and in her Sunday School Class. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bernstein Funeral Home with the Revs. Lee Hunter and Tommy Dial officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Burton Sosbee, Statham; a son, Calvin Burton, Statham; two sisters, Melba Fitzpatrick, Athens, and Ann Scott, Bishop; three brothers, A.G. Howell St. died Sunday, Dec. 20, 1998. A native of Hart County, Mr. Cunningham was a son of the late Luther Martin Cunningham Sr. and Millie Bailey Cunningham. He was a retired co-owner of Hailey's Drug Store with 50 years of service and was a former part-time employee of Strickland Funeral Home. He was a former Hartwell City Councilman from 1957 to 1979 and was a former charter member of Hartwell Lions Club. He was a member of Hartwell First United Methodist Church where he served as Sunday School Superintendent for 20 years and was a member of the Wallace White Sunday School Class. Services will be 3:30 p.m. today at Strickland Funeral Home with the Revs. Jan Devereux, Luther Kay and Eddie Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Mary Bagwill Cunningham; a daughter, Linda C. A native of Greenwood, S.C., Mrs. Seymour was a daughter of the late Joe E. and Nell Williams Grizzell. She was the owner and operator of The Day Care Center, Elberton, and was a member of Elberton First Baptist Church. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Elmhurst Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Wells officiating. Survivors include three daughters, Mattie-Nell S. Murner, Forsyth, Melissa E.
