A native of Newport News, Va., Mrs. Cleveland was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Oglesby, Athens. She was a bookkeeper and of the Methodist faith. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bernstein Funeral Home, Athens, with the Rev. Bill Britt officiating. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include her husband, Robert Cleveland; a sister, Daryl Williams, Athens; two brothers, Bob Oglesby, Farmington, and Tom Oglesby, Athens; a grandmother, M.M. Oglesby, Elberton; a niece and two nephews. The family will receive friends at the home of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Oglesby, 165 Kingswood Drive, Athens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity. John Edwards Milledgeville John Aaron Edwards, 69, of 117 Kenan Drive died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998. Mr. Edwards was a former co-owner of Edwards Lumber Co., Sparta, and a member of Mount Stephens Baptist Church, White Plains. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Moores Funeral Home. Burial will be in Black Spring Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Gloria Cook Edwards; a daughter, Sharon E. Leverett, Milledgeville; a son, Dennis Edwards, Statesboro; a sister, Nena E. Mayo, Norwood; two brothers, Ernest Edwards, Greensboro, and Charlie Edwards, White Plains; and four grandsons. Rev. Paul Haddock Toccoa The Rev. Paul Boyd Haddock, 88, of Mill Street died Friday, Oct. 23, 1998. A native of Stephens County, the Rev. Haddock was a son of the late Will and Lula Davis Haddock. An Army veteran, he was a minister and a member of Victory Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Whitlock Mortuary with the Revs. Hoyt Johnson, A.A. Moore and Will Herring officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Marthella Hagan Commerce Marthella Gordon Hagan, 69, of 469 Delia Drive died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Hagan was a daughter of the late Mose and Katherine Bradford Gordon. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Commerce, Cherry Street Circle 2 and the Embroider's Guild Club of Georgia, a charter member of the Four Season Garden Club and J.E.B. Stuart Chapter of United Daughters of the Confederacy, a Red Cross and Meals on Wheels volunteer and an honorary Pilot Club member. She was a graduate of Commerce High School and Stephens College, Columbia, Mo., and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, 1998, at First United Methodist Church of Commerce with the Revs. Hoyt Allen and Scott Hearn officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. The family is at the residence. Dorothy Lazenby Milledgeville Dorothy Hill Lazenby, 77, of 211 Prosser Road died Thursday, Oct. 22, 1998. A native of Rockford, Ala., Mrs. Lazenby was a daughter of the late Era Webb and Harmon Hill and was the widow of Billy Ruben Lazenby. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Baptist Church. A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Mr. Long was a son of the late Ernest H. and Georgia C. Long. He was a cab driver and had served as a sergeant in the Army during the Korean conflict. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and a former textile worker in Greenville, S.C., and in Lavonia with Bartson's Mill. She was retired from Whitworth Hatchery-Banquet Poultry, Lavonia. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Norman was a son of Cordella Eberhart Norman, Athens, and the late Hugh Norman Sr. He was retired from Athens-Clarke County Police Department with 23 years of service. He currently was serving as Chief of Police of Colbert and was a member of East Athens Baptist Church. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home East, Athens, with the Rev.
