A Hart County native, she was the daughter of the late O.C. Skelton and Pearl McGarity Skelton. She was a retired lunchroom worker for Hartwell Elementary School and a homemaker. She was a member of the Senior Citizen Joy Club of the Mount Hebron Baptist Church, a member of the Oak Bower Baptist Church and the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class. Services will be Sunday at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Strickland Funeral Home. Burial will be in Northview Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Charles R. Walters of Anderson, S.C. and George C. Walters, Jr. of Lawrenceville; two daughters, Alma W. Greenway of Starr, S.C. and Ann W. Daniel of Hartwell; one brother, Dr. Marion Skelton of LaGrange; one sister, Alta Mae Cleveland of Hartwell; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the funeral home. Loyce O. Brady Toccoa Loyce O. Brady, 84, of Mize Road, Toccoa, died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998. A native of Banks County, Brady was the son of the late A.N. Brady and Hepsie Ayers Brady. He was retired from Coats and Clark and was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of Carnes Creek Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, former Sunday school teacher and a member of the adult men's Sunday school class. Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Whitlock Mortuary, with the Rev. David Sosebee, the Rev. Tim Miller and the Rev. Paul Collins officiating. Burial will be in Carnes Creek Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Esther Brady of Toccoa; one sister-in-law, Lila Brady of Toccoa, and two brothers-in-law, Lewis T. Kellar and Joe Ramsey, both of Toccoa. The family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Saturday at Whitlock Mortuary. Lydia R. Crumpton Toccoa Lydia Ruth Haney Crumpton, 62, of 8606 Prather Bridge Road, died Dec. 25, 1998. A native of Oconee County, S.C., Crumpton was the daughter of the late Homer R. Haney and Ruby Edna Marcengill Haney. She had worked for Trogdon Furniture Co. Toccoa Casket Co. She was a member of Old Toccoa Baptist Church and attended Shiloh Baptist Church. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at Acree-Davis Funeral Home, with the Rev. John McKnight and the Rev. Hal Cason officiating. Pallbearers will be Rickey Haney, Rex Nelms, Buck Haney, Mickey Haney, Josh Haney and Phil Crumpton. Interment will be in Old Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Gibbs T. Crumpton; a daughter, Rhonda Vaughn of Toccoa; a son, Gregory W. Crumpton of Toccoa; a sister, Cheryl Brendle of Beckley, W.Va.; four brothers, Homer R. Haney of Destin, Okla., Oren Haney of Salem, S.C., and Phillip W. Haney and Grahl D. Haney, both of Westminster, S.C., and two grandchildren. Earnesteen Davis Cornelia Earnesteen Davis, 77, of North Hoyt Street, died Friday, Dec. 25, 1998. A native of Parkersburg, W.Va., she was the daughter of Mildred Carmichael. She was a homemaker, a volunteer at Sharing and Caring in Cornelia, and a member of the Baptist faith. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at McGahee-Griffin Funeral Home with J. Michael Shirley officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Judy Heenan of Virginia; two sons, James Richard Davis Davis of New Mexico and David Davis of Cornelia; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Robert Wooten Danielsville Charles Robert Wooten, 55, of Wild Cat Bridge Road, died Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998. A native of Franklin County, he was the son of the late Richard Lee Wooten and Katie Roberts Wooten, and the husband of Diana Lynn Wooten. He was self-employed with Regal Touch Contractors, a member of New Hope Baptist Church and an honor member of the Broad River Coon Hunters Association. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Danielsville Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert Thomas and the Rev. Dennis Kesler officiating. Pallbearers will be Keith Perry, Tommy Roberts, Dale Roberts, David Dorsey, Raymond Shedd and Clayton Lowe. Mary W. Grant Cornelia Mary Wilson Grant, 97, of Cornelia died Thursday, Dec. 24, 1998. A native of Cobb County, Grant was a homemaker and a member of Cornelia First Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Cornelia First Baptist Church with Dr. Mark Weaver officiating. Burial will be in Level Grove Cemetery. Survivors include five daughters, Jane Perry and Linda Kimsey, both of Athens, Rosalyn Harris of California, Betty Gibbs of Cornelia, and Martha Chandler of Lilburn; two sons, Jack Grant of Fort Worth, Texas, and Dr. Calloway W. Grant of Cornelia; 37 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at McGahee-Griffin Funeral Home. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Ruth Self of Winder; a son, Bill Morgan of Anderson, S.C.; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Willie B. Mapp Greensboro Willie B. Mapp, 42, of 1101 Wright Lane, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1998. A native of Greene County, he was the son of Newester Callaway of Greensboro and Alexander Mapp of Siloam. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at New Springfield Baptist Church in Siloam, with the Rev. Roi Johnson officiating. Burial will be in the Saw Dust Cemetery in Siloam.
