A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Adamson was a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Williams Ayers and widow of Vester L. Adamson. She was co-owner of V.L. Adamson Hardware and the oldest member of Mount Carmel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Mount Carmel Baptist Church with the Rev. Ralph Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a son, Roy L. Adamson, Lula; a brother, Levi Ayers, Alto; and a grandson, Vester L. Adamson II, Lula. Ann Blalock Indianapolis, Ind. Ann Burrage Blalock, 60, formerly of Habersham County, died Monday, March 23, 1998. A native of Rome, Mrs. Blalock was a daughter of the late Julius Bass and Della Mae Moody Burrage and widow of John Henry Blalock. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Level Grove Cemetery with the Rev. J. Edgar Waters officiating. A native of Oconee County, S.C., Mr. Burdette was a son of the late James "Jim" and Ella Sheriff Burdette and widower of Ellese Moore Burdette and Faye Cawthon Burdette. An Army veteran of World War II, he was retired from drywall work and preferred the Church of God faith. Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today at Hamby-Weldon Funeral Home with the Rev. Steven D. Hamby officiating. Burial will be in Lavonia City Cemetery. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Martin was a daughter Troy and Hester Mae Minish Evans and widow David Azroe Martin. She was a homemaker. He was a retired carpenter and a member of Mount Olivet Baptist Church.
