Ellis Sr. She graduated in 1931 from the University of Georgia, where she was selected as a member of Phi Kappa Phi, and received a master's degree in science in the early 1960s. She served with the County Extension Service in Irwin and Crisp counties and was a teacher in retiring from Commerce city schools in 1972. She was a member of Union Baptist Church.
