A native of Jackson County, Mr. Brown was a son of the late Mary Christine Henslee and Fred Matthew Brown. He was a bulldozer operator. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Simmons Funeral Home with the Rev. John McMillan officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Survivors include his wife, Leavern P. Brown, Rabun Gap; three daughters, Frances Peek, Rutledge, and Linda Pittman and Susan Simmons, both of Madison; two sisters, Mary Darnell and Fannie Tillery, both of Madison; five brothers, Tom Brown, Nolan Brown and Joe Brown, all of Madison, Fred Brown Jr., Watkinsville, and Clyde Brown, Eatonton; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Mable M. Dunson Toccoa Mable Moss Dunson, 90, of 114 Davis Ave. died Monday, July 27, 1998. A native of Dallas, Texas, she was daughter of the late Jackson Richard and Della Minyard Moss and was the widow of John Walter Dunson. She was preceded in death by two children, Maudie Lee Fountain and John Walter Dunson Jr. She was of the Holiness faith. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Rev. Truitt Brawner officiating. Burial will be in Zebulon Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include four daughters, Corinne Gifford, Asheville, N.C., Elnora Pilgrim and Carolyn Hayes, both of Toccoa, and Ann Holcomb, Eastanollee; three sons, James Dunson, Toccoa, Neal Dunson, Pikesville, Tenn., and Ronald Dunson, Winder; 17 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Grandsons, including William Dunson, Allen Dunson, Raymond Duncan, Danny Fountain, David Fountain and Kenneth Pilgrim, will serve as pallbearers. The family is at the residence. Henry Eberhart Athens Henry James Eberhart, 74, of 265 N. Billups St. died Saturday, July 25, 1998. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Baptist Church with the Rev. Stephen B. Hall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Garden. The body will be placed in the church at 11:30 a.m. Survivors include his wife, Thelma Eberhart; two daughters, Bobbie Jean Anderson, Ozark, Ala., and Shirley Thomas, Atlanta; a son, Henry Tyrone Eberhart Sr., Athens; a brother, Grady Eberhart Jr., Athens; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Ford was a son of the late Annie Heard Ford and Bish Ford Sr. Graveside services were at 11 a.m. Tuesday in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Mack officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Anderia Juan Cloude, Decatur, and Regina Woodall, Athens; two sons, Howard Ford Jr., Seattle, and Charles Ford, Athens; two sisters, Lizzie B. Howard, Cincinnati, and Minnie E. Durham, Seattle; two brothers, Bish Ford Jr., Athens, and Sylvester Ford, Rialto, Calif.; six grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Winfrey's Mutual Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Irene Miller Toccoa Elizabeth Irene Smith Miller, 84, of Falls Road died Tuesday, July 28, 1998. A native of Hall County, Mrs. Miller was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Elizabeth Alberta Hatcher Smith and was the widow of Reeder Miller. She was a retired librarian at Decatur-DeKalb Library and a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, United Daughters of the Confederacy and Jamestown Society. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Private graveside services will be later in Riverside Cemetery, Macon. Survivors include a son, Thomas J. Miller, Anderson, S.C.; a brother, Robert E. Samara Nation Athens Samara Coffman Nation, 29, of 585 Brookstone Drive died Monday, July 27, 1998. A native of Philadelphia, Mrs. Nation was a daughter of Benay Coffman, Philadelphia, and the late Harvey Coffman. She was a student at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine and a member of Omega Tau Sigma fraternity. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bernstein Funeral Home with Rabbi Ronald D. Gerson officiating. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, William "Will" Nation, Athens; and a sister, Stacey Coffman, New York. Mildred Rooks Athens Mildred Rooks of 520 Roberts Road died Sunday, July 26, 1998. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Rooks was a daughter of the late Alice and Willie Evans and was the widow of Robert Rooks Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Fork Bethel, Lexington. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Watkinsville, with the Rev. Glenn Hendricks officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Survivors include six daughters, Rosa Rooks, Mary Rooks and Lucy Rooks, all of Athens, Annie Davenport and Hazel Rooks, both of Watkinsville, and Lottie Sheats, Stephens; two sons, Robert Rooks Jr., Lexington, and Wylie Rooks, Watkinsville; three sisters, Annie S.
