A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Barnette was a daughter of the late Bunion and Claudia Butler Grizzle and was the widow of Early E. Barnette. She was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church and a homemaker. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Carter Funeral Home with the Revs. John Talley and Cedric Banks officiating. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Survivors include a daughter, Sue Stewart, Auburn; four sons, Harold Barnette, Everette Barnette and Almond Barnette, all of Winder, and Charles Barnette, Statham; two sisters, Effie Mae Parker, Statham, and Betty Gilliland, Hoschton; a caregiver, Janet Sansone, Avon Park, Fla.; 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Carter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Pearlie Lewis Elberton Pearlie Louisa Morrison Lewis died Monday, Oct. 26, 1998. A native of Elberton, Mrs. Lewis was a daughter of the late William E. and Reba Bryant Morrison. She was a member of Rose Hill Baptist Church and employed with Boaz Carpet Yarns, Royston. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Rose Hill Baptist Church with the Revs Hillary Moon and Herman Glaze officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Martin Grove Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Nathaniel Lewis; a son, Joe Nathan Lewis, Elberton; six sisters, Leanna Hudson, Elberton, Willie Beatrice McIntosh, Alice Morrison and Rozelle Atkinson, all of Athens, and Gracie Smith and Marian Ann Morrison, both of Atlanta; four brothers, Luther Morrison and Thomas Morrison, both of Elberton, William Morrison, Riverside, Calif., and Willie S. Mr. Morris was a son of the late Herbert R. and Sudie A. Morris and was the widower of Frances S. Morris. He was a sales person for Bo's Bottle Shop. Mattie Mosteller Bowman Mattie Mae Edwards Mosteller, 91, died Tuesday, Oct. 27, 1998. Mrs. Mosteller was the widow of Joseph Ford Mosteller Sr. Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Eastwood Baptist Church, Marietta, with the Rev. Dr. C.E. Jackson III and the Rev. Ed Clark officiating. John Jordan Commerce John Thomas Jordan, 88, of 311 McKie Road died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998. Mr. Jordan was a son of the late John Andrew and Annie Bell Greer Jordan and was the widower of Addie Mae Baxter Jordan. He was a textile worker at Harmony Grove. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Ivie Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Owensby officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Park. Kevin Payne Sr. Donalsonville Kevin Michael Payne Sr., 43, of 206 W. Crawford St. died Wednesday, Oct. 28, 1998. A native of Lawton, Okla., Mr. Payne was a son of Doris Nelson Payne, Athens, and the late Kenneth L. Payne. He owned and operated Better Breathing Home and Health Care and Muscle Elite and was associated with Drs. Jacob Holley and Jeff Holley. He was the 1996 World Championship Power Lifter. He was a graduate of Richmond Academy and the Medical College of Georgia, with a degree in respiratory therapy. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at First Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. David Farland officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Rhonda H. Payne; two daughters, Kristen Payne and Nicole Payne, both of Donalsonville; a son, Kevin Michael Payne Jr., Donalsonville; two brothers, Kenneth Payne, Athens, and Kermit Payne, Atlanta; and nieces and nephews. A native of Greenville, S.C., Mrs. Quillian was a graduate of the University of Georgia School of Journalism with a bachelor of arts degree. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church of Ormond Beach, where she taught Sunday school for many years. She was a past president of the Junior League of Daytona Beach, an active member of Cherry Laurel Garden Club and was on the Board of Directors of the Citrus Council of Girl Scouts from 1967-1973. She was a Girl Scout leader for many years. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First UMC of Ormond Beach. Survivors include her husband, Hugo Quillian; four daughters, Lucile Q. McDermott, Elizabeth I. Quillian and Ann M. Quillian, all of Daytona Beach, and Laura Q. Rogers, Augusta; a son, E. Wylie Quillian, Peachtree City; a sister, Lucile M.
