He was retired as plant supervisor with Ericsson, formerly Anaconda Wire and Cable, with 2712 years of service. He was a veteran of World War II, having served with the 3rd Fighter Squadron of the 334th Airborne Division, and of the Korean War, having served with the Strategic Air Command.
