A native of Hart County, Mrs. Addison was a daughter of the late Hosea and Mozelle McCurley Slater. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, the Dorcas Sunday School Class and the WMU. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Ebenezer Baptist Church with the Revs. Larry King and Jack Sosby officiating. Burial will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Survivors include her husband, Wilborn Addison; a daughter, Linda Elrod, Toccoa; a son, Leon and Addison, Greenville, S.C.; a brother, Joe Slater, Anderson, S.C.; and five grandchildren. Mary Hale Cadier Duluth Mary Hale Cadier, 45, died Wednesday, March 31, 1999. Mrs. Cadier was a daughter of Martha S. Hale of Statham and the late Carl Hale. She was a homemaker and was assistant vice president of First Federal Bank. She was a graduate of Winder Barrow High School and the University of Georgia. Services will be at 5 p.m. Saturday at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, with the Rev. Bobby Anthony officiating. Burial will be in Statham Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Cadier; a stepdaughter, Jennifer Henson, Highpoint, N.C.; a stepson, Jason Cadier, Highpoint; a sister, Barbara L. A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Elder was a daughter of the late Dr. James T. and Lola Osborn Elder. She attended Georthe University of Georgia. She was a retired school teacher having taught in Tate, Winder, LaFayette and in Oconee County at the Bishop Elementary School for the longest period. She was a member of Antioch Christian Church. Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at Antioch Christian Church with remains placed in state at 3:30 p.m. The Rev. David Perkins will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a niece, Virginia Bishop and her husband, Joe C. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Furcron was a daughter of the late Clyde and Ellen Fortson Deadwyler and was the widow of Cornelius Patrick Furcron. She was a homemaker and was a member of Elberton First Baptist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hicks Funeral Home with the Rev. Craig Brogdon officiating. Burial will be in Elmhurst Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Joseph C. Furcron, South Padre Island, Texas, and William E. A native of Anniston, Ala., Mr. Griffith was a son of the late Neal Elijah Griffith and Dorothy Crews. He was a commercial pressure washer. Services will be at 1 p.m. towith the Rev. Survivors include his wife, Christina Griffith; a son, Dylan Griffith, Columbus; two sisters, Rebecca Quinn, Madison, and Teresa Thacker, Chattanooga, Tenn.; and a brother, Neal Edward Griffith, Jacksonville, Fla. Jennings L. Henry Atlanta Dr. Jennings Lamont Henry, 90, of Lenbrook Square died Wednesday, March 31, 1999. A native of Russellville, Ark., Mr. Henry was a son of Jennings Munroe and Anna Jenks Henry and was the widower of Mary Lackey Henry. He was preceded in death by two daughters, Diane Henry Cooper and Cecelia Henry Tupay. He was a 1933 graduate of the University of Arkansas School of Medicine and was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. After completing an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University he entered private practice in Atlanta. He served in the Armed Forces from 1941 to 1946 attaining the rank of Lt. Colonel and served as Chief of Medical Services, Station Hospital, Camp Hood, Texas. He was actively involved in the Georgia Heart Association, serving as president in 1956. He was a Professor of Medicine at Emory University Medial School from 1948 until his retirement in 1972. He served Georgia Tech as their team physician for 22 years and was a member of the Ansley Golf Club and Saint Phillips Cathedral. Services will be at 4 p.m. Saturday at the Cathedral of Saint Phillip. Survivors include a daughter, Suzanna Askew Roberts, Athens; two sons, Anthony Bartholomew Askew and Nulett Hall Askew, both of Atlanta; and 13 grandchildren. Born August 13, 1900, in Franklin County, Mr. Sullivan was a son of the late Robert Franklin and Annie Marie Verner Sullivan. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fletcher and Dennis E. Sullivan; and three sisters, Ovis and Effie Sullivan and Bernice Bellamy. He attended Emory University and was a member of the track team. He was a schoolteacher, a grocer for 41 years and was an agent for Cotton States Insurance. He was a charter member of the Carnesville Lions Club, retired from the Board of Trustees of Cobb Memorial Hospital, and was a former member of the Franklin County Board of Education. He was a lifelong member of the Carnesville United Methodist Church and had served as the Lay Leader for 50 years. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Carnesville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rebecca Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Valdivia Gillespie Sullivan; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Dr. Robert F. and June Wilson Sullivan and Dennis and Bobbie Burns Sullivan, all of Carnesville; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
