A native of Madison County, Mrs. Jordan was the daughter of the late Lucius B. and Susie Roberts McElroy. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the New Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Thomas and Rev. Wendall Hanley officiating. Burial will be at the Bethel M. Baptist Church Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Alson Lee Jordan of Danielsville; one daughter, Marie Brown of Canon; two sons, Roger Jordan and Larry Jordan, both of Danielsville; three sisters, Annie Sue Royston of Royston, Flarrie House of Danielsville and Gladys King of Greenwood, S.C. and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, David Jordan; two brothers, Fred and Jesse McElroy and two sisters, Estelle McElroy and Nellie Graham. Pallbearers will be the deacons of the New Hope Baptist Church. The family is at the residence and will receive friends at Pruitte Funeral Home from 7-9 p.m. tonight. Charles H. McCaleb Bishop Charles Henry McCaleb, 55, died Wednesday, Dec. 30. A native of Knoxville, Tenn., Mr. McCaleb was the son of Mary B. McCaleb of Mascot, Tenn., and the late Monroe McCaleb. He was a member of the Harvest Baptist Church in Monroe. Funeral arrangements will be announced later by The Island Funeral Home, Hilton Head Island, S.C. Survivors, in addition to his mother, include his wife, Judy Wilhite McCaleb; one son, Charles H. McCaleb Jr. of Bishop; one daughter, Dana Koyama of Senoia; a brother, Bob McCaleb of Knoxville, Tenn.; three sisters, Louise Hurst of Mascot, Tenn., Margaret Ramer of San Antonio, Tex., and Linda Bullard of Strawberry Plains, Tenn. and two grandchildren. The DeKalb County native was the son of Robert Edward and Sarah Holcomb Lee. He was a 1992 graduate of Dacula High School. He was the owner of Lee Electric Company and attended Oak Grove Baptist. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Jackson Funeral Home with Robby Black officiating. Burial will be at Dacula First Baptist Church Cemetery. Allgood Lesseur, 98, of 2466 Calhoun Falls Highway., Elberton, died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Lesseur was the daughter of the late William Allgood and Betty Gunter Allgood. She was the wife of the late Obie Veal Lesseur. She was a member of Bethel "E" Baptist Church in Elberton. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Berry Funeral Home with Rev. Connie Ivester officiating. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Puckett was the daughter of the late Carl and Mary Alice Mahoney Childers. She was a 25-year member and past matron of Athens Chapter 268 Order of Eastern Star. Terry Winterville Winnie Stephens Terry, 88, of 1595 Cherokee Rd., died Thursday, Dec. 31, 1998. Terry, a native of Clarke County, was the daughter of the late Henry Daniel and Alice Pittman Stephens. She was a former resident of Jacksonville, Fla., where she was a nurse with St. Lukes Hospital. Terry was a member of St. Joseph's Young at Heart, Tuckston Senior Citizens, ACCA-RSVP volunteer and Post 10 Amvets Auxillary. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Charlie Stephens and Wrethie Stephens Phipps and a brother, Curtis Stephens.
