Mrs. Kenney-Bailey was a government inspector. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church with the Revs. Charlie Maddox and Wilson Lattimore officiating. The body will be placed in the church at noon. Burial will be in the Kenney Family Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Lollie Bailey Nilsson, Stockholm, Sweden; an adopted daughter, Karen Bailey Robinson, Tennessee; nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Nelson Powers, Albert Whitehead, Mack Kenney Sr., Robert Lee Daniel, Tyrone Barnett and Leslie Turner. The family is at the residence of Lizzie Swanson, 210 Swanson Drive, Athens. Mack & Payne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Lawrence Edwin Barnett Bogart Lawrence Edwin Barnett, 80, of 510 Fowler Mill Road, died May 28, 1999. A native of Oglethorpe County, he was a son of the late Arthur Bolten and Eula Mae Hancock Barnett, and the widower of Lorene Wages Barnett. He had lived in this area most of his life and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in World War II. Graveside services were Sunday, May 30, 1999, at 2 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park. Rev. Albert Askew officiated. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Randall and Sheila Barnett of Bogart; sister, Ann Claxton of Tolberton, GA; grandson, Jason Barnett; several nieces and nephews. A native of Madison County, Mrs. Levy was a daughter of the late Calvin and Nonie B. Carruth. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Winfrey's Mutual Funeral Home with the Rev. Bob Bradford officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Daniel Gaines, Lexington; a son, Addison David Wimbush III, Athens; three grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter. Lucille M. Murray Bogart Lucille Marie Murray, 53, died Monday, May 31, 1999. A native of Auburn, N.Y., Mrs. Murray was a daughter of the late James and Josephine Kulakowski. She graduated with an A.A.S. degree from Auburn Community College, then received a B.S. in education from State University of New York at Oswego. Following positions as an elementary school teacher in both Auburn and Rochester, N.Y., she served as the archivist for the Seattle, Wash. public school district. She obtained a master's in information studies from Syracuse University, and subsequently worked as an adult reference librarian at the public library in Corvallis, Ore. prior to moving to Athens. Services will be private. Survivors include her husband, Thomas Murray; and a son, Jesse Murray, Athens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hollings Cancer Center, P.O. Sanders, 81, of U.S. Highway 441 North died Monday, May 31, 1999. A native of Banks County, Mr. Sanders was a son of the late Horace T. and Norbia Cash Sanders and was the widower of Geraldine Anderson Sanders. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of World War II and was retired from Ames Textile as a bookkeeper after 24 years of service. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Whitfield Funeral Home, Baldwin, with the Revs. Gene Todd and Lanny Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Victoria St. died Monday, May 31, 1999. A native of White County, Mr. Satterfield was a son of the late Octavie Dunnigan Satterfield and Jim Satterfield. He was retired from Chicopee Mills and was a member of First Baptist Church, Commerce. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Little-Ward Funeral Home with the Rev. Don Paulson officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Mae Bell Thomas Satterfield; two daughters, Shirley Huskins, Smyrna and Ann Nicholson, Dalton; and two brothers, Carl Satterfield, Tucson, Ariz., and Guy Satterfield, Travelers Rest, S.C. Ann Willett Athens Ann Mallinson Willett, 76, died Saturday, May 29, 1999. A native of New Jersey, Mrs. Willett was a daughter of the late Norman and Claire Marie Painter Mallinson and was the widow of Francis Willett. A resident of Athens since 1956, she held a bachelor of science and a master's degree in home economics from the University of Georgia, where she was a professor of home economics for 25 years. She was a past officer of the Retired Teachers' Association and was a member of the Jeanette Rankin Scholarship Foundation, Phi Upsilon Omicron and Phi Kappa Phi. She was past regent of the Elijah Clarke chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was instrumental in establishing hospice care in Athens. She was a member of The University of Georgia Catholic Center. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at the Lord and Stephens Funeral Home, East, with the Rev. Jack McDowell officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Kathryn W. Gnall, Aurora, Colo.; a son, David A. Willett, Scottsdale, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Knights of Columbus and Chester Sosebee. Memorials may be made to the Daughters of the American Revolution, St. Mary's Hospice or the University of Georgia Catholic Center.
