Gaynor Athens Ruth M. Gaynor, 82, formerly of Mountaintop, died Tuesday, June 1, 1999. A native of Ashley, Mrs. Gaynor was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Beltz Craig. She was a graduate of Ashley High School. Services will be at 5:30 p.m. today in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Hanover Township, with the Rev. Bette Poe officiating. Survivors include her husband, Robert Gaynor; a daughter, Linda Oeller, Bogart, Fla.; a son, Robert Gaynor Jr., Boca Raton, Fla.; and three grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the SPCA. Leo P. Lehman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Judy Hawkins Royston Judy Ann Shaw Hawkins, 53, of 2131 Campbell Ridge Road died Tuesday, June 1, 1999. A native of Charlotte, N.C., Mrs. Hawkins was a daughter of the late Henry and Hazel Newman Shaw. She was a former employee of Waffle House and was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Strickland Funeral Home with the Rev. Dan Bailey officiating. Burial will be in Belton Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, George Raymond "Ray" Hawkins; two sons, Robert Turlington, Royston, and Steve Powell, Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Linda Saucedo, Klamath Falls, Ore.; and three brothers, Jim Shaw, Gastonia, N.C., Billy Shaw, Miami, Fla., and Mike Shaw, Belton, S.C. A native of Wilkes County, Mrs. Huff was a daughter of the late Ralph and Sallie Lee Berry Dudley and was the widow of Herschel E. Huff Sr. She was a member of Cherokee Corner United Methodist Church where she was a member of United Methodist Women and choir. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Cherokee Corner United Methodist Church with the Revs. Jim Hinzman and Lee Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Arnoldsville Cemetery. She was employed by Buck Creek Cotton Mill for a number of years and was a member of Mullins Ford Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rock Quarry Holiness Church with the Revs. Edward Hood and Larry Blackwell officiating. Burial will be in Toccoa City Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth L. He was a retired machine operator for Monroe Auto Equipment and was a member of Rock Branch Baptist Church and the Agoga Sunday school class. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Rock Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Sayer officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
