''Bobbye'' Jones, 71, died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999. A native of Wayne County, Mrs. Jones attended Wesleyan Conservatory and was a Communicant of St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was a former member and past president of Dogwood Garden Club and was a former member of Jesup Junior Woman's Club. She was a former Society Editor for the Jesup Sentinel and was retired from the Jesup Office of the Georgia Department of Transportation. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Episcopal Church with the Rev. Jim Clendinen officiating. Burial will be in Jesup City Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon J. Falls, Macon, and Joannah J. Dickerson, Cordele; two sons, Charles B. ''Buddy'' Jones II, Ray City, and Jon Marc Jones, Athens; a sister, Mary Parsons, East Point; two brothers, J. He was a retired auto mechanic, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of Central Baptist Church, Athens. He was a member of Collier Baptist Church, where he was a deacon and teacher of the Adult Men's Sunday school class. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
