A native of Habersham County, Mrs. Ivie was a daughter of the late James Ernest and Minnie Loudermilk Dodd. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Palm Springs. A native of Oconee County, S.C., Mrs. Jordan was a daughter of the late William David and Drucilla Friar Carter, and was the widow of Homer J. Jordan. She lived most of her life in Stephens County. She was a homemaker, a member of Toms Creek Baptist Church, and attended Camp Creek Baptist Church. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. today at Whitlock Mortuary, Toccoa. Burial will be in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Janie Lou Channell Mize Union Point Janie Lou Channell Mize, 79, of 214 Binns St., died Friday, July 2, 1999. A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Mize was a daughter of the late Jack D. and Alice "Lula" James Wood, was the widow of both Paskel Channell and of Earnest C. Mize. She was a retired technician at Universal Trundle and was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Union Point. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Callaway Funeral Home, Union Point, with the Rev. James Lee officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Union Point. Survivors include a daughter, Betty Channell Armor, Macon; two sons, Charles L. Thomas A. Mossor Greensboro Thomas Alvin Mossor, 73, of 1740 Arrowhead Road, died Friday, July 2, 1999. A native of Horton, W. Va., Mr. Mossor was a son of the late James Winfield and Mae Elizabeth Propst Mossor. He Was a graduate of Pennsboro High School, Ritchie County, W. Va., was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, was an electrical engineer for United Technologies for over 35 years. He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and Plastic Workers of America, Local Union 464. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at McCommons Funeral Home, Greensboro, with the Revs. Dennis Garner and Brian Williams officiating. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in Kingwood Memorial Park, Worthington, Ohio. Survivors include a sister, Kathryn Walters, Tucson, Ariz.; two brothers, Donald Mossor, Harrisville, W. A native of Banks County, Mr. Murray was a son of the late Luther Jackson and Lela Whitfield Murray. He lived most of his life in Stephens County, was retired from the Ferro Corp., and attended Zebulon Baptist Church. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. today at Zebulon Baptist Church with the Rev. Ty Childers officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. A native of Walhalla, S.C., Mr. Reese was a son of the late Coleman and Henrietta Smith Reese. He lived in Athens for most of his live, was a member of the Princeton United Methodist Church, and he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He owned and operated his own tree services business until his retirement several years ago. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Monday in the Princeton United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Revs. Elmer Butler and Russell Repetske officiating. Bobby Lewis Rogers Elberton Bobby Lewis Rogers, 63, of 1234 Flagstone Road, died Saturday, July 3, 1999. A native of Ware Shoals, S.C., Mr. Rogers was a son of the late Furman Rogers and Mary Helen Clark. He was raised by his grandparents, the late Cleveland and Callie Clark, and his aunts and an uncle. He retired from Brown Transport Trucking Co. after 32 years of service. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church and was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by a son, Michael L. Rogers. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Berry Funeral Home, Elberton, with the Rev. Donald Mulkey officiating. She was a member of the Colbert Baptist Church, and had lived in Atlanta for the past 11 years. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Bridges Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Nedra Merriman officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Dorothy Barnes, Lawrenceville, Mary Tully, Athens, and Ann Hyde, Dunwoody; two sons, Robert Wigley, Brevard, N.C., and Laddie Wigley, Duluth; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
