A native of Birmingham, Ala., Mrs. Auld was a daughter of the late Charlie and Susie Carter Harrison and was the widow of David C. Auld. She was a retired nurse and was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Toccoa. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Elmhurst Cemetery with the Revs. Doug Hilliard and David Voss officiating. Survivors include a sister, Kathryn Young, Arnoldsville; a brother, B.F. Eberhart, Winterville; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East. Flowers will be accepted and memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Edward W. Callaway Washington Edward Wilson Callaway, 80, of 112 Hospital Drive died Wednesday, March 3, 1999. A native of Wilkes County, Mr. Callaway was a son of the late John Wesley Callaway and Susie Drinkard Callaway and was the widower of Katherine Anderson Callaway. He was employed with the Department of Agriculture, Division of Weights and Measures, and was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Washington, and was a member of the Challenge Sunday School class. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Resthaven Cemetery with the Rev. Albert W. Huyck Jr. officiating. Survivors include two daughters, Kay C. Nelms and Linda C. Webster, both of Washington; three sisters, Ruth Dunnaway, Winder, Frances Drake and Mary Thornton, both of Washington; and a brother, Milton Callaway, Washington. Mary Chambers Winterville Mary Chambers, 64, Route 1 died Tuesday, March 2, 1999. A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Chambers was a daughter of the late Jessie Hubert and Ruby Lee Bragg Burnette. She was a 1954 graduate of Winterville High School and was employed with The University of Georgia Small Business Administration for 20 years. She was a member of Tuckston United Methodist Church. She was retired from Statham Elementary School cafeteria and was a member of Statham First Methodist Church. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. today at Statham City Cemetery with the Rev.
