A native of Rocky Mount, N.C., Mrs. Adams was a daughter of the late Frederick Fritz and Jane Ellinor Webb Crouch and was the widow of William Eugenius Adams Sr. She was a 1936 graduate of Peace College. She was secretary with the USDA and was active with the Boy Scouts. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church where she was a former treasurer of the Sunday school. She was a member of the Elijah Clarke Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution; Gen. John Baytop Scott Chapter, National Society United States Daughters of 1812; Thomas Miller Chapter, National Society Colonial Dames XVII Century; Georgia branch, National Society Sons and Daughters of Pilgrims; Laura Rutherford Chapter, United Daughters of the Confederacy; Georgia Society, National Society Daughters of Colonial Wars; Georgia Society, National Society of the Dames of the Court of Honor; Georgia Society, National Society Daughters of the American Colonists; First Families of Georgia 1733-1797; Continental Society Daughters of Indian Wars; Sons and Daughters of the Colonial and Antebellum Bench and Bar 1565-1861; National Society Sons and Daughters of Antebellum Planters 1607-1861 and served as a sergeant first class in the Georgia State Defense Force. She was created a Dame of the Hospitaller Order of Saint John of Jerusalem. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Evergreen Memorial Park, with the Rev. Joseph W. Berry officiating. Survivors include two sons, Thomas Richard Adams, Charleston, S.C., and William E. Adams Jr., Athens; and a brother, Frederick Fritz Crouch Jr., Raleigh, N.C. Pallbearers will be S. Edward Law, H.F. Perkins, Ned Dawson, A.P. Barnett, George W. Smith Jr. and Robert H. Ayers. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at Bernstein Funeral Home. William C. Allgood Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. William "Bill" Carson Allgood, 68, died Monday, May 3, 1999. A native of Carrollton, Mr. Allgood was a son of the late George Wesley and Helen Allgood. He owned and operated Allgood's Spray Cleaning and Painting Service and was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Grace Tabernacle, a past member of the Shriners and past president of the Boy's Club of Okaloosa County. He sponsored many Little League teams over the years. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Emerald Coast Funeral Home, with the Revs. David M. Malheiro and Mike Purdy officiating. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Mount Zion Methodist Church Cemetery, Andalusia, Ala. Survivors include his wife, Linda R. A native of Winder, Mr. Austin was a son of the late John Rich and Lillie Helton Austin and was the widow of Verna Dean Sharpton Austin. He was a self-employed certified public accountant. He was a member of Winder First Christian Church where he was an elder, deacon, Sunday school teacher and Chairman of the Board of Directors. He was a U.S. Marine Corp veteran of World War II. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Winder First Christian Church with the Revs. John Richardson and Larry Rary officiating. Burial will be in the Chapel Mausoleum of Barrow Memorial Gardens. A native of Franklin County, Mr. Price was a son of the late Sanford Lyon and Sarah Alice Richey Price and was the widower of Mary Francis Thomas Price. He was a retired professional musician and former Grand Ole Opry musician. He toured with Little Jimmy Dickens, Bill Monroe and the Bluegrass Boys and George Mason. At the time of his retirement he was a part of the Judy Lynn Show in Las Vegas. He and his wife owned and operated Price's Hillbilly Grocery and Cafe, where he gave music lessons. He played at Shoal Creek Park and the Billy Dilworth Country Music Party. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Poplar Springs Baptist Church, Lavonia, with the Revs. Harbin Sanders and Johnny Thomas officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
