A native of Lumpkin County, Mrs. Armour was a daughter of the late Samuel and Nancy Dockery Waters. She lived most of her life in Hall County and was a homemaker and member of Town Creek Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at McGahee-Griffin Funeral Home, Cornelia, with the Revs. Jacob Armour and Lester Haynes officiating. The Rev. Clyde Garrison will officiate the graveside service. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery, Cornelia. Survivors include her husband, Leco Armour; six daughters, Imogene Wade, Demorest, Joydean Martin, Cornelia, Geneva Wade, Doris Jones, Linda Ferguson and Patsy Armour, all of Alto; four sons, Ralph Armour, Cornelia, Bennie Armour, Perry Armour and L.J. Armour, all of Alto; a brother, Jim Walters, Dahlonega; a sister, Arizona Long, Etowah, Tenn.; 29 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A native of Madison County, Mrs. Smallwood was a daughter of the late Johnny William and Mattie Ruth Martin Shields, and was the widow of Scott Littleton Smallwood. She was retired from Commerce Sportswear and was a member of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Revs. Mark Polston and David Harbin officiating. Burial will follow in the Grey Hill Cemetery, Commerce. Survivors include a brother, J.W. Shields, Commerce; and a sister, Ruth S. Barnett, Warner Robbins. She was a homemaker and a member of Westminster Church. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Pinelawn Memorial Park with Rev. Haywood Smith officiating. She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col. Garland H. Hendricks of the home; daughter, Judy H. Fersch and husband Kenneth E. Fersch, grandchildren, Katherine Hunt, Kacy Hunt, and Kerrie Beth Fersch, all of Apex, N.C.; step-granddaughters, Stephanie Maloney of Columbus, Ohio, and Cindy Flaherty of Blacklick, Ohio; son, Hill J. Hendricks and wife Joyce H. Hendricks, grandchildren, Cameron and Courtney Hendricks, all of New Bern, N.C.; son Jeffery G. Hendricks and wife, Allison J. Williams, 83, of Briarwood Drive, Toccoa, husband of Mary Belle Gabriel Williams, died Sunday, Oct. 3, 1999, in Stephens County Hospital. Born August 7, 1916, in Gwinnett County, Mr. Williams was a son of the late George W. and Nancy Graham Williams. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church and the 220 Fellowship of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Mr. Williams was retired from Georgia Power Company. He was also a member of the Ambassadors of Georgia Power Company. Survivors include his wife of the home; one son, Larry Williams of Maysville; three grandsons, Tony Williams of Corpus Christi, Texas, Jonathan Williams of Gainesville, and Jeremy Williams of Maysville; three sisters, Thelma Snelson of Statham, Lois Gabriel of Crawford, and Willie May Gabriel of Auburn; one brother, George Junior Williams of Jefferson; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, 1999, from the Chapel of Whitlock Mortuary, Toccoa, with the Revs. Larry King and Jack Sosby officiating. Burial will follow in Stephens Memorial Gardens. Ambassadors of Georgia Power and the Adult Men's Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers and will meet at the mortuary at 1:30 Tuesday. The body is at the mortuary where the family will receive friends from 2-5 and 7-9 today. The family will be at the home on Briarwood Drive, Toccoa.
