A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Allgood was a son of the late Evelyn Turner and W.F. Allgood. He had lived in Madison County for most of his life, where he owned and operated Allgood Machine Company. In semi-retirement he worked seven years for the Eaton Corporation, Athens. He was a member of Carlton Baptist Church and the Athens Antique Car Club. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Carlton Baptist Church with the Rev. Doug Ivey and Mr. Bill West officiating. Burial will be in Carlton Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Geneva Smith Faulkner Allgood, Carlton; two daughters and sons-in-laws, Brenda and Trenton Brown, Eatonton, Rose and Bill West, Jonesboro; two sons, Mike Allgood and his wife, Jerrie Cole Allgood, Danielsville, and Bill Allgood Jr. and his fiance, Becky Saylors, Crawford; a former daughter-in-law, Sharon Grimes Algood Good, Toccoa; the mother of his children, Marjorie Webb Allgood, Decatur; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two stepdaughters, Sandra F. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Eavenson was a son of the late Oscar S. and Bertha Harper Eavenson. He was a retired farmer, having raised cotton, soybeans, wheat and cattle. He was a member of the Elbert County Farm Bureau, having served as president twice and director. He served for 10 years on the Elbert County Hospital Board and was a Pharmacist Mate in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He was a member of Concord United Methodist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Hicks Funeral Home with the Rev. Stan Hamilton officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Sara Kathleen Gaines Eavenson; two sons, Bobby A. Granner Jr. Simpsonville, S.C. Charles W. Granner Jr., 78, died Monday, March 1, 1999. A native of Wichita, Kansas, Mr. Granner was a son of the late Charles W. and Emma Clements Granner. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Stryker and Jeanne Osborne; and two brothers, Robert Clements Granner and H. Theadore Granner. He attended Wichita University and was a member of the Webster Fraternity. He was a 1st Lt. Pilot in the U.S. Air Force during World War II and was a member of the Masonic Lodge No. 808 of Fort Thomas, Ky. He was a past president of the Kentucky Drug Travelers Association and was a Kentucky Colonel. He was connected with Johnson and Johnson, Mills Hospital Supplies, Drug Master and retired from Delta Foremost Chemicals. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church of Asheville, N.C. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Forest Chapel United Methodist Church, Cincinnati, Ohio, with the Rev. Herman Emmert officiating.
