A native of Barrow County, Mrs. Witt was a daughter of Mary Lou Shields and the late John Lee Hinton. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bush Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church with the Rev. Phillip Wells officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Barrow Memorial Garden. A native of White County, Mrs. Garmon was a daughter of the late Noah Eurice and Eula Belle Popham McEntyre and was the widow of John Floyd Garmon. She was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Garmon. She was an inspector for Carwood Manufacturing for many years and was a member of Center Grove Baptist Church, Pendergrass. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McGahee-Griffin & Stewart Funeral Home, Cornelia. Burial will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens, Demorest. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gladys Lyons, and by two sons, David Lee Boothe and Donald Eugene Boothe. She was a retired seamstress and was of the Baptist faith. A native of Hart County, Mr. Payne was a son of the late William T. and Nettie Pruitt Payne. He was a retired supervisor with Oxford Industries and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of Bowman Baptist Church, where he served as deacon and was a former Sunday School director. Ray and Betty Edwards, Jr. of Bogart; brothers, Phillip L. Edwards of Tucker, Fred R. Edwards of Memphis and R. Bruce Edwards of Snellville; grandchildren, Dean Carter, Ryan Carter, Matthew Otwell, Chad Edwards, Jeffrey Edwards and Stacey Edwards. Mr. Edwards was a Veteran of the US Navy serving during World War II, Vice President of Frasher Painting and Decorating Company over 40 years, taught apprentice painting and decorating and blueprint reading courses at Atlanta technical school. He was a member of the Briarwood Baptist Church in Gwinnett County. He was a wonderful husband and father.
