Julian C. Mauldin Lavonia Julian Cannon Mauldin, 89, of 628 Providence Church Road, died Saturday, April 10, 1999. A native of Franklin County, Mr. Mauldin was a son of the late Ben F. and Ada Cannon Mauldin. He was a retired welder from Monroe Auto Equipment Co., was a former school bus driver for Hart County School System, and was a retired farmer. He was a former member of Hart County Democratic Party, former Father of the Year in Hart County in 1972, and was a member of Providence United Methodist Church where he served as Sunday school superintendent for over 30 years. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Providence United Methodist Church with the Revs. Larry Maugh and E.C. Hart officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park.
