A native of Clarke County, Mrs. Harris was a daughter of Debora Morris Hall, Sharon, and the late Roy Dover. She was a bookkeeper. Emma Lou Bugg Haynes, 81, formerly of Athens, died Monday, June 28, 1999. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Haynes was a daughter of the late Annie and West Bugg. She lived in Detroit for 60 years. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Hurley Funeral Home with the Rev. Frank Dillard officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Cemetery. Ulysses Hunter Elberton Ulysses Hunter, 74, of 1991 Ruckersville Road, died Wednesday, July 7, 1999. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Hunter was a son of the late Elijah and Ella Blackwell Hunter, and was the widower of Betty Jean Brown Hunter. He received his education in Elberton and Stratford, Conn., and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Vance Creek Baptist Church, Elberton, where he served in many capacities. He was retired from the Civil Service-Department of Public Works, was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Norfolk, Va., and the Lavonia VFW Auxiliary Post 5897.
