A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Crocker was a daughter of the late Lee W. and Beulah Estell Adams Covington. She was a retired medical secretary and was a member of Cave Springs Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Evans Funeral Home with the Rev. Gerald Mitton officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Park. Survivors include her husband, Allen Crocker, Atlanta; two sons, Mark Crocker, Ellenwood, and Lee Crocker, Atlanta; two sisters, Cleo Covington, Atlanta, and Willo Nell Blarkstock, Jefferson; and three brothers, Ralph Covington, Carnesville, J.C. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Daniel was a son of the late William Jackson Daniel and Emily Watson. He was a carpenter. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Sugar Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Hill, 93, of Sycamore St. died Tuesday, March 9, 1999. A native of Banks County, Mr. Hill was a son of the late James and Emma Whelchel Hill. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Ivey was a son of the late Joe Hoyt and Alma Mae Wilson Ivey. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member and deacon of Riverside Baptist Church. Hester M. Lunsford Elberton Hester Morris Lunsford, 86, died Wednesday, March 10, 1999. A native of Elbert County, Mr. Lunsford was a son of the late Seaborn and Martie Frances Burden Lunsford. He was a retired watch repairman. He served in the CCC in North Carolina and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater. He was awarded two purple hearts. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the AARP and Stinchcomb United Methodist Church. Parr Jr. Jefferson Arthur Harrison Parr Jr., 59, of 3287 Athens Highway died Tuesday, March 9, 1999. A native of Jackson County, Mr. Parr was a son of the late Emma Belle Black and Arthur Parr Sr. He was co-owner of Parr's Food Store in Arcade and served in the national guard for eight years. He served as mayor of Arcade for 24 years and served on the Jackson County Board of Education for 18 years. He was a member of Redstone Methodist Church. A native of Bullock County, Mrs. Pelfrey was a daughter of the late William Franklin and Lille Mae Wilson Tanksley and was the widow of Robert C. Pelfrey.
