A native of Telfair County, Mrs. Abbott was a daughter of the late Lawrence Endey Lowery and was the widow of William Walter Abbott. She was a registered nurse and was a member of Oconee Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Sunrise Cemetery with the Rev. Barry Johnson officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Nancy Smith, Maysville; a sister, Ella Strickland, Thompson; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Branch was a son of Jack and Kitty Johnson Branch of Norcross. He was a member of Dunwoody Baptist Church and was a self-employed electrician. Doughty Washington Mary B. Doughty, 50, of 116 Nelms St. died Saturday, Aug. 7, 1999. A native of Wilkes County, Mrs. Doughty was a daughter of Lillie M. Kelley and the late James W. Wilson and was the widow of Freddie Doughty II. She was a retired custodian. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at New Salem Baptist Church with the Rev. R.L. Reynolds officiating. Elizabeth Mallonee, 87, died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999. A native of Odenton, Md., Mrs. Mallonee was a daughter of the late William and Glorina Jordan Houseknecht and was the widow of John Brice Mallonee Sr. She attended Danielsville United Methodist Church. She was a member of Hyattsville United Methodist Church and was retired from the Prince George County School System, both in Maryland.
