She was a housewife and was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Rev. Grady Jordan officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Memorial Park. A native of Clarke County, Mr. Huff was a son of the late Harry H. and Ruth Calvert Huff, and was preceded in death by his step-mother, Burney G. Huff. He was a US Navy veteran, a retired lieutenant with the Gainesville Florida Fire Department, and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bogart. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of Bogart with the Revs. Randy Strickland and Mark Fite officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the Huff family cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Ellie Bee Yawn Huff; a daughter, Barbara Alari, Owego, N.Y.; four sisters, Annette Parham, Bogart, Betty Sims, Loraine Huff and Zue Nash, all of Athens; and three brothers, Thomas Huff, James Huff and Herschel Huff, all of Bogart. Pallbearers will be Al Sims, Ed Sims, Mike Nash, Nathan Sims, Ken Parsons and Johnny Parham. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mrs. Belcher was a daughter of the late Luke and Arrie Long, and was the widow of Grady Belcher Sr. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and a former member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church. Hooper, 88, 300 Sycamore St., Jefferson, Ga. passed away Dec. 9, 1999 at Athens Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Hooper was born in Barrow County, the daughter of the late Joseph R. and Juette Hill Wills. Mrs. Hooper was retired from the Jackson County Health Dept. and the Jackson County Board of Commissioners. She was a part-time employee of Jackson Funeral Home, Jefferson, Ga. Services for Mrs. Hooper will be at 2:00 P.M. Sat. Dec. 11th. at the First Baptist Church, Jefferson, Ga. Interment will be in Jackson Memorial Park, Commerce, Ga. Mrs. Hooper is survived by a son Robert and daughter-in-law, Mary Ray of Jefferson, Ga. one grandson, Bo Hooper, Lilburn, Ga., one granddaughter, Amy Skelton of Royston, Ga.
