She was a retired bookbinder for the Williams Printing Co., a member of the Brotherhood of Binders Local 96, and a member of Statham Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 4 p.m. today at Barrow Memorial Gardens with the Rev. James Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:30 p.m. today at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. Richard Henry Booth Athens Richard Henry Booth, 45, of 243 Dearing St., died Monday, March 8, 1999. A native of Water Valley, Miss., Mr. Booth was a son of George Preston Booth, Eupora, Miss., and Virginia Parkman Booth, Clinton, Miss. He was a 1971 graduate of Clinton High School, and received a bachelor of arts degree in literature from the University of Southern Mississippi and a master of fine arts degree from the University of Georgia. He was well-known in the artistic community of Athens and was a sculptor and painter. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. Friday in Clinton Cemetery, Clinton, Miss. Survivors, in addition to his parents, include a brother, George Phillip Booth, Eupora, Miss.; a niece; a nephew; and aunts, uncles and cousins. Juanita Gurley Lavonia Juanita Allene Sanders Gurley, 59, of 166 Milton St., passed away early Friday morning, March 12, 1999, at her home. A native of Hart County, she was a daughter of Luly Dean Sanders, Lavonia, and the late C.B. Sanders. She was employed for many years at Monroe in Hartwell and later at Hartwell Sports in Hartwell. She also was the former co-owner and operator of the Lavonia Cloth Shop, Lavonia. She was a member of the Lavonia First Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Katherine Denise, and a nephew, Gary Wilson.
