A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Butler was a daughter of the late Fletcher L. and Beulah Weatherford Howington and was the widow of Samuel H. Butler. She was a member of Oconee St. United Methodist Church and attended Ray's United Methodist Church. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ray's United Methodist Church with the Revs. Bob Murphy and Larry Carnes officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include two daughters, Diane Jamieson, Barnesville, and Zina Barfield, Bishop; a son, James Vickery, Dallas; eight grandchildren; nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Bridges Funeral Home, Athens. Polly Woodall Hein Athens Polly Woodall Hein, 69, of 315 Duncan Springs Road died Sunday, July 11, 1999. A native of Bibb County, Mrs. Hein was a daughter of the late Paul Ford Woodall and Pearl May Jefferson Woodall. Mrs. Hein graduated from Athens High School and received a Master's Degree in Business from UGA. She attended Law School at UGA and was a member of the Alpha Chi Omega Sorority. Mrs. Hein was employed at the Navy Supply Corps School for 5 yrs., then joined the staff at the UGA as a Research Associate in the School of Business Administration, from which she retired after 20 yrs. of service. She was then employed at the Office of Personnel Management of the Federal Government and retired after 14 yrs. of service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Athens. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 15, 1999 in Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. Grady Wigley officiating. Survivors include her husband, Robert E. (Bob) Hein, Athens, GA; two daughters, Ginger H. Licolli, Hollywood, Fla., and Valerie H. Owens, Morristown, Tenn.; three sons, Robert P. Hein and David E. Hein, both of Atlanta, and Mark E. Joseph Ford Mosteller Jr. Bowman Joseph Ford Mosteller Jr., 66, of 163 N. Broad St., died Monday, July 12, 1999. A native of Atlanta, Mr. Mosteller was a son of the late Joseph Fort Mosteller Sr. and Mattie Edwards Mosteller. He was a graduate of Georgia State University and served in the U.S. Army as a first lieutenant. He had a career in the auto-parts distribution business in the Atlanta and North Georgia area and was a member of First Baptist Church, Elberton. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Berry Funeral Home, Elberton, with the Revs. C.E. Jackson III and Steve Fenlon officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Bowman. A native of Newark, N.J. and a resident of Athens for the past 16 years, Mr. Petrasek was a son of the late Robert Franklin and Lolo Dobbs Petrasek and was the widower of Margie Nicholas Petrasek. He was a retired intelligence analyst with the U.S. government and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Services will be held at a later date.
