A native of Towns County, Mr. Burch was a son of the late Oren and Celia Barrett Burch. He was a retired farmer, a member of AARP, and a member of Fairfield Baptist Church. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. today at Fairfield Baptist Church, Demorest, with the Revs. Keith Allison, Donald Grizzle, and Clifford Allen officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Elenora Nichols Burch; two daughters, Betty Souther and Sylvia Taylor, both of Demorest; a son, O.C. Burch, Cleveland; a sister, Nora Barrett, Clarkesville; a brother, Fred Burch, Hiawassee; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Whitfield Funeral Home, Baldwin, is in charge of the arrangements. Mary Ann Hale Watkinsville Mary Ann Hale, 95, of 2201 Simonton Bridge Road, died Saturday, June 12, 1999. A native of Oconee County, Ms. Hale was a daughter of the late Liza Harris and Jack Hale. She was a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at East Lawn Memorial Cemetery, with the Rev. Hoyt Smith officiating. Survivors include a sister-in-law, Mrs. Rose Lee Hale, Athens; and two nieces, Mrs. Lizzie Smith Jennings, Watkinsville, and Mrs. Mozell Hale Ballards, Athens. The family is at the residence. Mack & Payne Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Louise V. Lankford Lavonia Lydia Louise Vaughn Lankford, 91, of 1926 Ridgeview Road, died Saturday, June 12, 1999. A native of Hart County, Mrs. Lankford was a daughter of the late Andy and Leila Williams Vaughn, and was the widow of Loyd F. Lankford. She was a homemaker and a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she had been a member of the choir, a W.M.U. member, and a former teacher of the Junior Girls Sunday school class. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. today at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, with the Revs. Terrell Floyd, Davis Lacey, and John Forbes officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a son, Hugh Lankford, Lavonia; a brother, Howard Vaughn, Bowersville; four granddaughters; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Blondine Adams Loggins Commerce Blondine Adams Loggins, 71, of 229 Loggins Road, died Saturday, June 12, 1999. A native of Madison County, Mrs. Loggins was a daughter of the late Young and Willie Linsey Adams. She was a housewife and a member of the Freedom Church of God. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce, with the Revs. Curtis Hammond and Richard James officiating. Burial will be in the Freedom Church of God cemetery, Commerce. Survivors include her husband, Frank Loggins Jr.; a daughter, Joyce White, Grayson; five sons, Mike Loggins, Brunswick, Ohio, Ronnie Loggins, Tex., Terry Loggins and Bobby McElreath, both of Commerce, and C.W. McElreath, Danielsville; four sisters, Wreath Baxter and Betty Joyce Hanley, both of Commerce, and Reba Byrd and Edna Klugh, both of Smyrna; three brothers, Dewitt Adams, Odean Adams, and Talmadge Adams, all of Thomasville, N.C.; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. A native of Madison County, Mrs. McCollum was a daughter of Huldie T. Campbell Jordan, Hartwell, and the late Clarence T. Jordan, and was the widow of James Harold McCollum. She was a homemaker, and was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hamby Funeral Home, Lavonia, with the Rev. Paul Garrison officiating. Burial will be in the Franklin Memorial Gardens, North. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include a daughter, Mary McCollum, Royston; two sons, Terry McCollum, Nicholson, and Wayne McCollum, Toccoa; two sisters, Sheila Bryson, Hartwell, and Mary Jo Hart, Madison County; a brother, James Barry Jordan, Madison County; a fiance, Doug Walters, Royston; four grandchildren; and a step-grandchild. Walker Eastanollee Edna Burruss Walker, 83, of Route 1 Box 43, died Saturday, June 12, 1999. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Walker was a daughter of the late Thomas H. and Ophelia Matthews Burruss, and was the widow of Garvin W. Walker. She lived in Stephens County most of her life. She was a homemaker and was a member of Toms Creek Baptist Church and the Maude Sunday School Class. Services will be at 3:00 p.m. today at the Whitlock Mortuary, Toccoa, with the Revs. Wayne Marcus and Clack Stubbs officiating. Burial will be in the Toms Creek Baptist Church cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Phil Walker, Eastanollee, and Jerry Walker, Martin; a sister, Louise B. Whitlock, Eastanollee; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
