Trammell Clarkesville Bessie Lockwood Trammell, 88, of 753 Ridge St. died Monday, Dec. 13, 1999. A native of Habersham County, Mrs. Trammell was a daughter of the late Pauline and Henry Lockwood and was the widow of Columbus James Trammell. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Stephens officiating. Burial will be in Clarkesville Memorial Cemetery. A native of Clarke County, Andrea was a daughter of Dr. David and Candice Stoffel of Athens. She was a student of Gainesville College, a graduate of Cedar Shoals High School, and was active in music and drama. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church. Memorial services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at Central Presbyterian Church with Dr. Robert Bohler Jr. officiating. Survivors, in addition to her parents, include a sister, Erica Murray, Athens; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Rike, Paulding, Ohio, and Max Ulman, Williamstown, W.Va. A native of Madison County, he was a son of the late George E. and Eva Brown Johnson, and was the widower of Willie Mae Tolbert Johnson, his wife of 70 years. He was a member of Hull Baptist Church where he had served as a deacon, Sunday School teacher and superintendent. Mr. Johnson was retired from the MacGregor Company and had lived in this area all of his life.
