A native of Taliaferro County, Mrs. Adams was a daughter of the late Arthur Talmadge Stewart Sr. and Emmie Temperance Jernigan Stewart. She attended Greensboro High School and Georgia State College for Women. She was a teacher in Fulton and Wilkes county schools and was a dietitian at Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital. She was a member of the Pilot Club, the Ladies Auxiliary at Minnie G. Boswell Memorial Hospital and First Baptist Church, Greensboro. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at First Baptist Church with the Revs. Arthur Stewart and Dave Sandridge officiating. Burial will be in Greenview Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Betti Wise, Jasper, and Dottie Campbell, Jonesboro; a son, Stewart Adams, Chula; a sister, Jean Stewart Jones, Greensboro; two brothers, Wilton W. Stewart, Peachtree City, and Arthur T. Stewart Jr., Greensboro; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. McCommons Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Robert D. Barnett Miami, Fla. Robert Donaldson Barnett, 69, died Thursday, Feb. 11, 1999. Mr. Barnett was a son of the late Henry and Trudie Barnett, Bishop. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and was employed by Ralston Purina for 25 years. His military services included active duty in the U.S. Navy and 22 years in the Army Reserves retiring as a lieutenant colonel. He was a Kiwanian, serving as president of four clubs, and lieutenant Governor. He was a member of First Methodist Church, Springdale, Ark. Services were Monday at Evergreen Memorial Park with the Rev. James Stephenson officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Jan English, Austin, Texas; two sons, Don Barnett, Dallas, Texas, and Dan Barnett, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; two sisters, Henrietta Foster, Athens, and Hazel Byington, Rome; and a grandson. Brinkley Siloam Troy Montreal Brinkley, 17, of Route 1, Highway 15 South, died Saturday, Feb. 13, 1999. A native of Greene County, Mr. Brinkley was a son of Cathy Brinkley and Johnny Lee Humphrey. He attended Greene-Taliaferro High School and played football for the GT Tigers. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at New Springfield Baptist Church, Siloam, with the Rev. Roi Johnson officiating. Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late Herbert Joel and Kathleen Venable Massey. She was a retired bookkeeper and clerk from Massey's Grocery and was a member of the Eastside Fishing Club. Cash, 68, of 222 Busha St. died Monday, Feb. 15, 1999. A native of Stephens County, Mr. Cash was a son of the late John and Mamie Whitehead Cash. He was preceded in death by a son, Bubba Cash. He was retired from ABF Freight Company and was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today in Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Ty Childers officiating. A native of Morgan County, Mrs. Hardigree was a daughter of the late John and Maude Jefferies. She resided in Oglethorpe County for the past 91 years and was the oldest member of Cherokee Corner United Methodist Church.
