A native of Anderson County, S.C., Mr. Berrong was a son of the late Monroe L. and Myrtie Lee Chambers Berrong. He was a member of Bethesda United Methodist Church. Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. today at Bethesda United Methodist Church with the Rev. George Owens officiating. Survivors include two sons, Kevin Lamar Berrong, Carnesville, and Timothy Monroe Berrong, Hartwell; two brothers, Wayne Berrong, Hartwell, and Billy Berrong, Daytona Beach, Fla.; and four grandchildren. Mrs. Briesearcher was a daughter of the late Emery and Flossie Warthen White and was the widow of George Briesearcher. She was retired and was a member of Logan Street Baptist Church, Mount Vernon. Robert Herman Atlanta Dr. Robert Herman, 57, died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1999. A native of Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Herman was a son of Murray and Goldie Herman. He was a graduate of Emory University where he earned his Doctorate of Law Degree in 1964. He was senior partner of Herman and SLeppy, PC, for many years, where his law practice specialized in personal injury, wrongful death and product liability cases. He was a member of Freeman, Wright, and Herman, PC. Services will be at 10:15 a.m. Sunday at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs with Rabbi Scott Saulson officiating.
