Allen Hartwell Franklin D. Allen, of 268 Assembly Road, died Thursday, March 18, 1999. A native of Hart County, Mr. Allen was a son of Julian Allen and the late Ada Mae Brown Allen. He was a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, Hartwell. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Cedar Spring Baptist Church, with the Rev. S.T. Grimes officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife, Ommie Nell Bailey Allen; five daughters, Gwendolyn Allen, Jamaica, N.Y., and Shirley Bailey, Annette Rogers, Mary Bailey, and Tatonya Bailey, all of Gainesville; two sons, Rickey Bailey and Stephen J. Bailey, both of Gainesville; four sisters, Annie Mae Torrence, Hartwell, Doris S. Dubose, Anderson, S.C., Ezell Clark, Detroit, Mich., and Mozelle Callier, Jamaica, N.Y.; two brothers, the Rev. W.R. Allen, Hartwell, and the Rev. Gaston Allen, Chicago; and 12 grandchildren. Nephews will serve as pallbearers. Nieces will serve as flower bearers. The family is at the residence. C.W. A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Anderson was a daughter of the late Blake and Elizabeth Palmer O'Dillion and was the widow of Charles A. Anderson. She spent most of her life in Athens and was a member of Salem Methodist Church at Farmington. Services will be at 3:30 p.m. today at Evergreen Memorial Park, with the Rev. Luther Fouche officiating. Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Janelle and Brice Bishop, Athens; a sister, Nina Elder, Stone Mountain; and two granddaughters, Carol Bishop and Linda Bishop, both of Athens. Bernstein Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Fudge Collins Crawford Fudge Collins, 95, of Highway 22, Box 109, died Thursday, March 18, 1999. A native of Oglethorpe County, Mr. Collins was a son of the late Willie and Edna Watkins Collins. He was a member of New Bethlehem Baptist Church, where he served on the Deacon Board. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at New Bethlehem Baptist Church, with the Revs. David Stanley, William Jennings, and S.A. Bishop officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 12 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, L.E. Jones Lexington Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements. Mary M. DeCamp Snellville Mary Miller DeCamp, 52, died Thursday, March 18, 1999. A native of Athens, Ms. DeCamp was a daughter of the late Margaret Gregg and Raymond Foster Miller. She had lived in Arlington, Va., for several years before returning to the Atlanta area in 1995. She was a home healthcare nurse and was a member of St. Edward the Confessor Episcopal Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, Athens, with the Rev. Brad Rundlett officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include two sons, Barry Miller DeCamp, McLean, Va., and John David DeCamp, Snellville; a stepdaughter, Susan DeCamp, Arlington, Va.; partner, Patricia Dozier, Snellville; three sisters, Karen M. Britt, Stone Mountain, Patricia M. Whitehead, Ila, and Becky M. and her husband Lamar Edwards, Carlton; a granddaughter, Lauren Kaitlyn Audas; and many loving relatives and friends. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West. Roger Niles Hazen Athens Roger Niles Hazen, 91, of 190 Hunnicutt Drive, died Wednesday, March 17, 1999. Born July 11, 1907 in Dorchester, Mass., Mr. Hazen was a son of the late Maynard Doran and Mary Lunan Hazen. He was preceded in death by a son, Maynard Doran Hazen, formerly of Athens, and Rye, N.Y., and by a sister, Mildred Hazen Summerow. He was the retired owner and president of Athens Auto Supply and had been in the wholesale fish business for many years previously. He was an active member of the community, a former member of the Athens City Council, and a former mayoral candidate. He was a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church, where he taught Sunday school. Services were Saturday at Chapelwood United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Hoyt Purcell officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Nina Johnson Hazen, formerly of Knoxville, Tenn.; a sister, Eleanor Hazen Williams, Atlanta; five grandchildren, Larry Doran Hazen, Lenoir, N.C., Lynne Morell, Charlotte, N.C., Mimi Burke, Rye, N.Y., Lisa Davies, Greenwich, Conn., and Amy Spaeth, Cos Cob, Conn.; and 14 great-grandchildren. Kermit Wallace Shore Augusta Kermit Wallace Shore, 65, died Friday, March 19, 1999. A native of Habersham County, Mr. Shore was a son of the late James E. and Mary Frances Baker Shore. He was retired from the U.S. military and was a member of the Police Officers Association of Georgia. He has worked as a security officer for Georgia Power and Federal Policeman at Fort Gordon. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, received the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry, and was a member of Toms Creek Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Toms Creek Baptist Church, with the Revs. Michael Davenport and Wayne Marcus officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mary Irene Sheriff Shore; a daughter, Kerry S. Jones, Martinez; a son, Steven W. Shore, Martinez; a brother, John N. Shore, Delhi, La.; and three grandchildren. A native of Decatur, Miss., Mr. Spivey was a son of the late Bunyan Dean and Martha Ann Pennington Spivey and was married for 50 years to the late Eileen Jones Spivey. He was a retired professor emeritus from the University of Georgia and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II having served on the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga. He was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church, Athens, was a graduate in chemistry and horticulture with a master's degree from Mississippi State University, Starkeville, Miss., and was a longtime member of Athens Kiwanis Club. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Grady Wigley officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia D. Pompeyo Elias Villena Bogart Pompeyo Elias Villena, 88, of 120 Stonehenge Way, died Thursday, March 18, 1999. A native of Cora Cora, Peru, Mr. Villena was a son of the late Enrique and Gregoria Lujan Villena and was preceded in death by a son, Johnny E. Villena. He was retired from Chicopee Textile Mill and was a Catholic. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Erlinda D. Villena; four daughters, Judith E.
