A native of Oglethorpe County, Miss Caldwell was a daughter of the late Robert E. and Elizabeth Mattox Caldwell and was the last member of her immediate family. She was a homemaker and was a member of Palmetto Christian Church. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today in the Caldwell Family Cemetery with the Rev. Walter Starman officiating. Survivors include a number of nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. The family is at their respective residences. Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton, is in charge of the arrangements. Joseph T. Cielaszyk Athens Joseph T. Cielaszyk, 74, of 160 Queens Road, died Thursday, March 18, 1999. A native of La Salle, Ill., Mr. Cielaszyk was a son of the late Joseph and Mary Zielenski Cielaszyk. He was a retired toolmaker with Westlclox-General Times Corp. and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was of the Catholic faith. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Bernstein Funeral Home, with the Rev. Bill Lakin officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Millie Fowler Cielaszyk; two daughters, Carol Carpenter, Hudson, Fla., and Jo Ellen Long, Lawrenceville; a son, Gary Cielaszyk, Watkinsville; and seven grandchildren. Mary Elizabeth Cook Athens Mary Elizabeth Cook, 87, died Sunday, March 21, 1999. A native of Fulton County, Mrs. Cook was a daughter of the late John Solomon and Lillie Mae Upton Andrews and was the widow of Carl C. Cook. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Westview Cemetery, with the Rev. Bob Merrill officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Lindsey, McDonough; a sister, Pat Degering, Clearwater, Fla.; a brother, Paul Andrews, Clearwater, Fla.; and two nieces, Joyce Reed and Barbara Sweetser, both of Danielsville; other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, West. `Gip' Hardigree Hartwell Carl Gibson "Gip" Hardigree, 83, of 77 Lakeshore Drive, died Sunday, March 21, 1999. A native of Barrow County, Mr. Hardigree was a son of the late Foster Thomas and Lillie K. Watts Hardigree. He was the founder of Gip's Manufacturing Co. of Hartwell in 1963 and a former employee of Carwood Mfg. Co. of Winder. He was a former member of the advisory board of the Citizens and Southern Bank of Hart County, and was a member and past president of Hartwell Kiwanis Club. He was a member of the Gridiron Society of the University of Georgia, and a member and past president of Hartwell Golf Club. He was a former member of Hart County Hospital Authority and a former member of Technical Advisory committee of the American Apparel Manufacturers Association. He was a member of Hartwell First United Methodist Church, a former chairman of the Administrative Board, and a member of the Wallace White Sunday school class. He was a U.S. Army Air Corp veteran of World War II. Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hartwell First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jan Devereaux officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Henson Hardigree; a daughter, Claire H. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. McCollum was a daughter of the late Perry Lee and Bessie Rowland Hill. She was the widow of Marvin A. Lunsford and Newton C. McCollum. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Little Sister Lunsford, and three sons, Junior Lunsford, J.T. Lunsford, and Clarence Lunsford. A native of Decatur, Miss., Mr. Spivey was a son of the late Bunyan Dean and Martha Ann Pennington Spivey and was married for 50 years to the late Eileen Jones Spivey. He was a retired Professor Emeritus from the University of Georgia and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II having served on the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga. He was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church, Athens, was a graduate in chemistry and horticulture, with a master's degree from Mississippi State University, Starkeville, Miss., and was a longtime member of Athens Kiwanis Club. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Grady Wigley officiating. Burial will be in Oconee Hill Cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Patricia S.
