A native of Delhi, Calif., Mrs. Butler was a daughter of the late John Andrew and Parlena Stevens, and was the widow of William Randall Butler. She was a longtime resident of Madison County and was a homemaker. Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Brown's Funeral Home, Danielsville, with the Rev. Don Fuller officiating. Burial will be at Colbert Cemetery, Madison County. Survivors include four daughters, Emma Terrell, Colbert, Penny Jackson, Augusta, Nancy Pierce, Macon, and Brenda Pearl Howard, Bogart; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. Bill Henry Hulet Jr. Greensboro Bill Henry Hulet Jr., 37, of 701 S. West St., died Saturday, May 29, 1999. A native of Erie, Pa., Mr. Hulet was a son of Bill Henry Hulet Sr., Decatur, and the late Sarah Bond Hulet. He lived in Greensboro for five years. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church, Greensboro, and graduated from Shamrock High School, Decatur. He was an equipment operator for the motion picture industry and was a member of the Stunt Actors Guild. Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Lakeside Baptist Church, with the Rev. Stan Patterson officiating. Burial will be in the Greensboro City Cemetery. Survivors, in addition to his father, include his wife, Rebecca Lynn Sharp-Hulet, and a son, Kegan Hulet, Greensboro. Pallbearers will be Chuck Kasprzak, J.L. Parker, Hugh Trammel, Chris Benedict, Rob Hevis, and Chuck Graydon. The family is at the residence where they will receive friends. McCommons Funeral Home, Greensboro, is in charge of the arrangements. Arletta Hunter Commerce Arletta Hunter, 75, of 1406 Hardman Orchard Road, died Saturday, May 29, 1999. Mrs. Hunter was a daughter of the late Ed and Mae Belle Cotton Brock, and was the widow of Moody Hunter. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. today at Ridgeway Baptist Church, Commerce, with the Revs. Bill Manus, Swayne Carlan, and Johnny Stowe officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include six daughters, Faye Bonner, Polly Crane, Patsy Minnish, and Bonnie Parr, all of Maysville, Becky Cartledge, Ila, and Shirley Whitlock, Commerce; three sons, David Hunter, Eddie Hunter, and Major Hunter, all of Maysville; four sisters, Dorothy Ballanger, Commerce, Lutrelle Parr, Ruby Roberts, and Helen Wiley, all of Maysville; two brothers, Calvin Brock and Winfred Brock, both of Maysville; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. Ivie Funeral Home, Commerce, is in charge of the arrangements. Thomas McLanahan Mount Vernon, Ill. Thomas W. McLanahan,81, formerly of Elberton, died Friday, May 28, 1999. A native of Elberton, Mr. McLanahan was a son of the late Asbury Long and Annie Lou Nash McLanahan, and was the widower of his first wife, Amy Rose Bassimer McLanahan. He was a granite engraver for Phillips Monument Company in Sesser, Ill., was a veteran of World War II, and was of the Protestant faith. He was a member of Mount Vernon Moose Lodge 755, Mount Vernon Elks Lodge, Mount Vernon American Legion Post 141, and Mount Vernon VFW Post 1376. Services were held Sunday, May 30, 1999, at the Johnston Funeral Home, Mount Vernon, Ill., with the Revs. Everett Lemay and J.R. Janese officiating. Burial, with Military Rites, was in Kirk Cemetery, Ina, Ill., conducted by Mount Vernon American Legion Post 141. Survivors include his wife, Evelyn Fitzgerrell Witter McLanahan; a son, Thomas W. McLanahan Jr., Mount Vernon, Ill.; two stepdaughters, Judy Parr, Mount Vernon, Ill., and Nancy Miles, Evansville, Ind.; a brother, Ralph McLanahan, Elberton; a grandson; and a great-grandson. Announcement courtesy of Hicks Funeral Home, Elberton. Margaret J. Regenstein Highlands, N.C. Mrs. Margaret Jennings Regenstein, 93, died May 29, 1999, at Highlands-Cashiers Hospital, Highlands, N.C. She was a resident of Atlanta, with her summer residence in Highlands, N.C., since 1980. A memorial graveside service will be held Tuesday, June 1, 1999, at 2:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park. Mrs. Regenstein was born February 19, 1906, in Athens, Ga., to Walter Randolph and Alma Todd Jennings. She graduated from Athens High School, attended State Normal School for Teachers and the University of Georgia. She was a captain of Women's Motor Corp of AWVS during World War II. She was an avid bridge player with many trophies, a lifetime member of Atlanta Woman's Club, Civitan Club Auxiliary, Tallulah Falls and Rabun Gap Nacoochee Guild, a charter member of Franklin Bush Chapter of Women's Cancer Association of the University of Miami, a past member of Highlands Country Club, the Country Club of Coral Gables, Fla., and Coral Gables Biltmore Club. Mrs. Regenstein is survived by her daughter, Barbara Anderson of Atlanta and Highlands; two step-grandchildren, Barbara Ann Regenstein and Susan McMillan, both of Atlanta. Flora Pass Veal, 93, formerly of Vesta, died Sunday, May 30, 1999. Mrs. Veal was a daughter of the late Willie Oscar and Ossie Burt Pass, and was the widow of the late Rev. Wilson Gilbert Veal. She was a teacher, a homemaker, and a member of the Vesta Baptist Church. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Vesta Baptist Church, Vesta, with the Revs. Russell Bruce and Johnny McKinney officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Ella Saunders, Portal, and Betty Jo Pryor, Anderson, S.C.; a son, Waylan Veal, Rossville; and a granddaughter. Pallbearers will be the deacons of the Vesta Baptist Church. The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Pryor, 109 Partridge Lane, Anderson, S.C., and will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. today at Berry Funeral Home, Elberton.
