A native of Stephens County, Mrs. Boggus was the daughter of the late Walter W. and Victoria Jane Hayes McCay. She was the widow of Ernest Lee Boggus Sr. and was preceded in death by a son, Ernest Lee Boggus Jr. She was a retired school teacher having taught in the Atlanta Public School System and the Stephens County School System. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Toccoa. Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Acree-Davis Funeral Home with the Revs. Wayne Hembree and Jack Lamb officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. at Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs, with the Revs. Wayne Hembree and Jay Hodges officiating. Survivors include a sister, Mary Shiver, Stockbridge; two nephews and a niece. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home . A native of Bendersville, Pa., Mr. Taylor was the son of the late John R. and Fannie C. Weaver Taylor. He was a missile technician having worked last at Cape Canaveral. He served in the U.S. Army and attended Toccoa Christian Church. Graveside services will be at 5 p.m. today at Roselane Cemetery with Douglas Guest officiating. Survivors include his wife, LaRue Lopp Taylor; a niece raised in the home, Jean Chalfant, Eastanollee; a brother, Richard Taylor, Bendersville, Pa.; other nieces and nephews. Knox, Ky. He was involved with Boy Scouts of America and was a member of the Order of the Arrow.
