A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Martin was a daughter of the late George and Ester Roach Fowler, was the widow of the late Joe W. Brooks and the late Harold Martin, and was preceded in death by a son, Goss Brooks. She was a homemaker and a member of the Hopewell Methodist Church in Westminster, S.C. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Pruitt Funeral Home, Royston, with the Rev. Jay Ragsdale officiating. Burial will be in the Franklin Memorial Gardens, North. Survivors include four daughters, Chris Brooks, Hartwell, Mary Joe Rice, Carnesville, Earlene Linder, Toccoa, and Tina Christian, Bowersville; a son, Bobby Brooks, Hartwell; two sisters, Myrtle Whitworth, Gainesville, and Virginia Kennedy, Atlanta; a brother, Orvale Carey, Royston; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A native of Jackson County, Mrs. Williamson was a daughter of the late John Moses Qualls and Lizzie Graham, was the widow of Charlie Richard Williamson and was preceded in death by a daughter, Annie E. McGinnis, and a son, John David Williamson. She was a textile worker and was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Faith Baptist Church with Dr. Gerald Mitton officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Lizzie B. Beatty, Pendergrass; a son, James C. She was a retired seamstress with Quality Sewing Products and was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
