Holloway Danielsville Robert Harrison Holloway, 84, of 361 House-Holloway Road died Monday, Sept. 4, 2000. He was 84. Mr. Holloway was a son of the late Benjamin and Florence Smith Holloway and the widower of Corene Porterfield Holloway, and was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Lee Holloway and Buddy Holloway. He was a retired farmer and had worked with the Madison County Road Department. Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Bluestone Baptist Church with the Revs. Ray Jenkins and James Creason officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2:30 p.m. Burial is in the church cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Elaine Bennett of Commerce, and Jayne Turner of Waverly, Tenn.; two sons, William Perry Holloway and Randy Holloway, both of Danielsville; two brothers, Charlie Holloway, Danielsville, and Carson Holloway, Comer; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. OBITUARIES Story last updated at 9:52 p.m. on Monday, September 4, 2000 Lettie Mae Holbrooks Toccoa Lettie Mae Holbrooks, 79, of 304 S. Tallulah St., died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2000. A native of Franklin County, Mrs. Holbrooks was a daughter of the late Claude and Jennie Hunter and the widow of John Holbrooks. She was preceded in death by three children, Christen, Annie and Troy Lee. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles M. White officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Toccoa City cemetery. Survivors include a daughter, Sula Holbrooks, Toccoa; a son, James Holbrooks, Toccoa; a sister, Mary Frances Brown, Toccoa; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Kelley Sr., 84, died Sunday, Sept. 3, 2000. A native of Gwinnett County, Mr. Kelley was a son of the late Daniel Claude and May Lou McDaniel Kelley Sr. and the widower of Jo Kelley. He was a graduate of the University of Georgia and of Gupton-Jones Mortuary School, and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He also served as mayor of Winder from 1959 to 1962. During his 50 years of service he was employed at H. M. Patterson & Sons Funeral Home, Atlanta, Haisten Funeral Home, Griffin, Dunbar Funeral Home, Columbia, S.C., and owned and operated Kelley Funeral Home in Winder for 35 years. Mr. Kelley served as president of the Georgia Funeral Directors Association, was Past Master of Winder Masonic Lodge 333 f&AM, was a 33rd degree Mason and past president of the Winder Lions Club. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gray. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Gray with Drs. James Griffith, Bruce Morgan and Dusty Reynolds officiating. Burial will be at 4 p.m. in Barrow Memorial Gardens, Winder. Survivors include his wife, Louise Pulliam Kelley; children Angelen Stephens, Conley, John P. Burial is in the church cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Henry E. ''Pete'' Shelnutt, Bishop; two sons, W.L. Shelnutt and Henry Shelnutt, both of Bogart; six sisters, Martha Carter and Hazel Craft, both of Statham, Willie Mae Carson and Addie Ruth Harper, both of Bogart, Virginia Peck, Farmington, and Frances Brown, Monroe; a brother, Austin W.
