Mr. O'Barr was born August 3, 1917 in Franklin County, GA to the late Will and Sally Hamby O'Barr. In addition to his parents, Mr. O'Barr was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred O'Barr and Mack O'Barr and one sister, Maude Patterson. Mr. O'Barr was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Mr. O'Barr was a member of the Lavonia United Methodist Church, the Masonic Lodge #216, Atlanta, GA, the Toccoa, GA Elks Lodge, and the Toccoa V.F.W. and the AARP. Mr. O'Barr was a veteran of W.W.II having served 812 years in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. O'Barr was a retired Vice-President with Farm Credit Bank for the State of Georgia.
