A native of Clarke County, Mr. Saye was a son of the late Robert E. and Rosa Kirskey Saye. He was connected with the U.S. Navy Flight School during World War II and retired from the University of Georgia as a mechanic. He was a member of Central Baptist Church. Services will be at 10 a.m. today in Evergreen Memorial Park with Dr. Ronny Barnes officiating. Survivors include a daughter, Sandra S. Maxey, Watkinsville; two sons, Wade Spencer Saye Jr., Knoxville, Tenn., and Gerald P. Saye, Lithonia; a brother, Paul Saye, Athens; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. A native of Elbert County, Mrs. Boleman was a daughter of the late David G. and Pauline Dean Phillips and was the widow of Ray J. Boleman. She was a graduate of Piedmont College and Young Harris College with a degree in education. She was a retired school teacher for the Hart County school system after 35 years. She was former owner and operator of Olde Well Antiques and was a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Reed Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Ted Kelley and Jason Danuser officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Nancy Hart Memorial Park. Survivors include a son, Ray J. Boleman Jr., Morehead City, N.C.; two brothers, Nelson Phillips, Gilbert, S.C., and Neal Phillips, Littleton, N.C.; two granddaughters; and two great-grandsons.
