A native of Crossville, Tenn., Mr. Ferrell was a son of the late James A. ''Lafayette'' and Dora Richardson Ferrell. He was retired from I.W. Davis as a correctional officer and was of the Baptist faith. He was retired from the U.S. Marine Corps with the rank of gunnery sergeant and was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He was a member of Gainesville V.F.W. and American Legion and Peace Officers Association of Georgia. Private memorial services will be held. A native of Carlton, Mr. Draper was a son of the late John W. and Agatha Bruce Draper and was the widower of Annie Sue Simmons Draper. He attended Comer High School and was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He attained the rank of Chief Boatswain and served aboard six Navy vessels, including USS New Mexico, USS Reuben James, USS Electra and USS Fomalhaut. He retired from Lockheed in 1975, was a member of Reed Creek Baptist Church and Golden Agers and was a former deacon.
