A native of Atkinson County, Mr. Moore was a son of the late William and Annie Rice Moore. He was a graduate of Willacoochee High School, was employed as an auto parts salesman for 45 years, and was a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of Cornelia Congregational Holiness Church. Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Whitfield Funeral Home, North, with the Revs. Clarence Reynolds and Ronald Mote officiating. Burial will be in Yonah Memorial Gardens. Survivors include his wife, Sarah Youngblood Moore; a daughter, Terri Moore; a son, Craig Moore; two brothers, Benny Moore, Vidalia, and James Moore, Willacoochee; nieces and nephews. A native of Hart County, Mrs. Adams was a daughter of the late Henry and Gussie Bowman Carter, and was the widow of Albert Adams. She was a member of Cedar Spring Baptist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Cedar Spring Baptist Church, Hartwell, with the Rev. R.L. Trammell officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Sandra Goss and Gussie L. Heard, both of Hartwell, and Sarah F. Cobb, Lawton, Okla.; three sons, Albert Adams Jr. and Jeffrey Adams, both of Hartwell, and Donald Adams, Mooresville, N.C.; two sisters, Gloria Craft, Anderson, S.C., and Jacquelyn Thomas, Asbury Park, N.J.; three brothers, Henry Carter Jr., Ocean, N.J., Erskine Carter, Long Branch, N.J., and James E. He was an ordained deacon, a U.S. navy veteran and was retired from Ford Motor Company. He was a member of Campton Masonic Lodge 566, Grand Chapter Royal Arch Masons 101, U.A.W. He was employed with Snow Tire Company in Athens for 20 years and was a U.S. Air Force World War II veteran. He was a life member of both the DAV and VFW Post 2872 and was of the Baptist faith. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, East, with the Rev. Ted Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Park. Survivors include his wife, Myrtle Strickland Mize, Athens; a daughter and son-in-law, Kathryn and Wayne Barr, Athens; a sister, Virginia Palmer, Athens; a brother, W.H.
