A native of Decatur County, Mrs. Swafford was a daughter of the late William and Nellie Lee Thomas Cox. She was a retired insurance agent and attended Winder First Baptist Church. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Carter Funeral Home with John Mobley officiating. Survivors include her husband, Randy Swafford; two sons, Charles Swafford, Winder, and Keith Swafford, Loganville; a sister, Jean Reynolds, Winder; three brothers, Hugh Cox, Tallahassee, Fla., Ralph Cox, Columbia, Mo., and James E. A native of Franklin County, Mr. Teasley was a son of Frankie Lee and Betty Clarke Teasley, both of Bowman. He was employed with Autozone and was a member of Holly Spring Baptist Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Holly Spring Baptist Church, Bowman, with the Rev. M.A. Moon officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, from the Smithville Baptist Church with interment to follow in the Smithville Cemetery. Rev. Joe Beauchamp and Rev. Roy Rogers will officiate. Mrs. Worthy, a native and lifetime resident of Smithville, was born April 7, 1923, a daughter of the late Ernest Oscar Beauchamp and Stella Frances Vause Beauchamp. She was the wife of the late Johnnie A. Worthy, Sr. who preceded her in death on April 27, 1985. The family will receive friends at 296 Smithville-Leslie Highway. Memorial contributions may be made to the Smithville Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Brenda Brewer of Winterville; three grandchildren, Ben Brewer and Mike Brewer, both of Athens, and Amanda Brewer of Winterville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
