A native of Franklin County, Mr. Bradley was a son of the late Warren Cash and Nannie Hulsey Bradley. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II and Was awarded the Bronze Star. He was employed with Trailways Bus Company for 36 years, retiring in 1982. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at New Franklin Christian Church, Lavonia, with the Revs. Jason Burchfield and Randy Lamb officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date. Survivors include his wife, Edna Poore Bradley; two sons, Doug Bradley and Wayne Bradley; six sisters, Dot Roberts, Bee Bailey, Kitty Sewell and Mary Bennett, all of Hartwell, and Ruby Hopkins and Ethel Bartlett, both of Columbia, S.C.; three brothers, Millard Bradley and W.C. A native of Milstead, Mrs. Damron was a daughter of the late George W. and Mattie Pirkle Finger Sr., and was the widow of Welton C. Damron. A lifelong resident of Athens, she was employed at Boley's Dress Shop and Belk's Department Store. She was a member of Oconee Street United Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Cincinnati College of Embalming and moved to Commerce in 1953 where he worked for Sanders Funeral Home before establishing Ivie Funeral Home in 1963. A World War II air force veteran, he was a member of the Lion's Club, the Hudson Masonic Lodge, the Commerce Board of Education and the Commerce City Council. He was a volunteer fireman and attended First Baptist Church of Commerce where he was a deacon.
